Most people think college is the only way to go but I am going to show you how you can become wealthy without college. I mean, what is a college degree worth these days? With the amount of people attending college, the college degree is just as good as the high school diploma.
What College Can Get You
I am a businessman so you will probably know that college is not a big part of my life. I did attend college, but it started to get in the way of my business, not a successful business, but it was a business.
When you go to college, you have it in your mind to become a doctor, lawyer, engineer, or whatever it is that you set out to be. In order to get there, it requires a lot of hard work and most especially, a lot of money.
There are a lot of good things that can come out of college but there are also just as many bad. The biggest thing would be debt. I had a friend studying to be an engineer and boy was that expensive. Not only did it cost an arm and a leg, but the classes weren’t easy. In the end, it would start you with at least a 60k a year job so it kind of balances out.
Along with the new job and the debt from college, comes the long hours and time away from family, which is the biggest reason why I set out for something bigger and better. I now make more than my engineer friend, have more time with my family, and I work from home.
Let’s face it, when you graduate from college you will inherit all kinds of debt from the student loans and and you’ll probably fall back a semester or two and you will be forced to pay it back. College is NOT the only way to become wealthy my friends and I am a college dropout that will show you how it’s done. First off, here’s my story.
The College Dropout
Here is my little experience with college and how I dropped out to become a wealthy online businessman.
Let’s start out with my life and how I got to where I am today. I started my young adult life by joining the United States Army and doing two deployments with the 101st Airborne Division out of Ft. Campbell Kentucky. I learned a whole lot about life being in Iraq and that has carried on with me and my current life.
I got out of the Army and ended up working for the local government while attending college. I came across online marketing while in the midst of all this, trying to make a better living for me and my family. I had two kids while all this was going on so I knew that something’s gotta give.
I know this sounds super crazy but this is what I did. I quit my job, dropped out of college, and chose to work online. I was so confident that doing business online was the only thing that will get me out of my financial issues and oh boy was I right.
Don’t get me wrong, it didn’t happen that easily my friend. I actually got into debt and ended up moving back in with my parents before I eventually started to make some real money online. It didn’t happen as easy as it sounds, but it eventually fell into place.
After I quit my job and dropped out of college, I had some personal problems with the mother of my children so I really couldn’t focus on building my business online. I didn’t do any type of work online and I was in debt. It wasn’t until after a couple of months until I started my online business. I had to stick to my plan and now, I make more money with all of my jobs combined.
College is not the only way to make a living my friend. I’m not saying that it isn’t a great way to make a career but you did look for a way to be wealthy without college right? Well if you’re interested in doing what I do then read on.
Online Marketing
Today doing business online has made me very successful. I can’t think of any other job that would give me the ultimate freedom as well as a job that I really do enjoy. If you are really interested in making a life for yourself then you need to make some tough decisions that will either make you or break you. Here is a couple of things you need to consider when taking on something new like online marketing
- It is still a job
- You are not going to get rich overnight
- You are not going to make money doing nothing
- Just because you can work when you want to doesn’t mean doing NOTHING!
- You will be making a big step in your life (drastic change)
- DO NOT quit your job until you generate some income (unless you absolutely have no time to do online marketing)
