There is a lot that you need to know before joining this or any recruiting based type of program, so let me give you some insight on what this company is really about.

What is Cellis?
Cellis (found at www.cellisnow.com), is a relatively new MLM that connects users with the opportunity to sell products and earn a profit.
Those familiar with the world of MLM will be similarly familiar with the business model of Cellis.
Though new, the company founder, Korey Johnson, does have a history in the industry of MLM.
Johnson is associated with Wairo and Valentus.
The company operates in the health niche—a market that takes up much space in the world of MLM.
Getting started with Cellis is typical in terms of what you can expect from an MLM. Well, mostly typical.
The method of entering into the organization is typical. To join, you simply pay a fee and get started.
What is less than typical is the size of the fee. With starting package options of either $500 or $1000, Cellis is a good deal pricier than most MLMs.
Though not necessarily damning, this should serve as a point of concern for potential affiliates.
Why?
MLMs, especially new ones, are always a little bit of a gamble.
The bigger your overhead cost, the riskier the company becomes to join.
Still, there are good MLMs out there that come with big sticker prices but also paying a much better commission.
The fee does not necessarily mean that you should shy away though, especially not before you have seen what they are selling, right?
Right.
Let’s now take a look at the products associated with this company.
What You Will Be Selling
Like we said, the products occupy the health niche.
However, you won’t be selling the standard supplements and vitamins that many other MLMs have to offer, as Cellis is in the coffee business.
Everyone’s favorite beverage, right?
The purpose of this coffee is to do more than just keep you up, and Cellis also claims that their java has added health benefits, such as weight loss aid.
It may sound a little bit sketchy, especially when other coffee MLMs like Vidacup have disappeared in just a couple of years.
After all, coffee is great for many things, but most don’t consider it a staple of a healthy diet.
However there does seem to be something to what they have to offer here.
The products are enriched with vitamins that will help to regulate insulin, and, potentially, help you to lose weight.
That’s the good news. Selling a product that works is a really critical component of the MLM process.
Coffee in its own right is popular, and healthy coffee should almost sell itself.
But while the nature of the product works in its favor, the price does not.
There are several different forms of the coffee—each with their own set of benefits.
One thing they all have in common is a hefty price tag.
The Price?
If you think Starbucks is expensive, you are going to be really blown away by the prices here.
The most affordable package is available for $37.
This is going to buy your customers thirty servings of coffee.
Technically speaking, this is less money than going out for coffee everyday.
However, it is considerably more expensive than brewing it at home yourself.
And of course, that is just the most affordable package.
The most expensive package is $67, and buys you fifteen servings.
This is going to be a big obstacle for many people. While expensive products lead to more lucrative commissions, they are also very hard to move.
If you feel confident in your ability to sell what most customers will see as overpriced coffee, this will be a good company for you.
Otherwise, you may want to look for an easier product to move.
Of course, we should still probably look at how you will get paid, right?
Let’s do that.
Compensation Plan
The Cellis compensation plan is pretty standard for an MLM. They will pay you to sell their products, however, you can make even more money by recruiting new affiliates.
You get $150 for every VIP Lifestyle package that you sell to a new affiliate.
It’s a pretty sweet deal really, but it will also be hard to earn. The VIP Lifestyle package is the entry fee that costs $1000—a figure most people probably are not looking to spend.
There is no data readily available on how much Cellis affiliates are making. However, in general, most affiliates struggle to make money when they first start out at an MLM.
Does that mean that you will struggle?
Of course not. It just means that you need to understand that is a possibility.
Is Cellis a Scam?
No.
At least it doesn’t seem to be.
The compensation plan is legitimate, and there are people making money through this company.
However, that does not mean that this is necessarily a company that is right for you.
Let’s review the points against Cellis real quick.
For one thing, it is a new MLM.
Starting out with a new MLM is always a little bit risky because sometimes these businesses struggle to get off the ground.
If the company folds, you as the affiliate are simply out of luck.
We also have the issue of the entry level cost. Spending between $500-1000 is going to be well outside the budget of many potential affiliates.
Even if it isn’t outside your budget, it is still a number that you will probably take a while to recoup.
Most people experience a serious learning curve when diving into the world of MLM.
It is not uncommon at all for people to go months without making serious money.
In its own right, this is a serious financial burden. Matters are only made worse when the overhead to join is really high.
Last but not least, there is the issue of the products themselves.
The idea behind these products is actually very clever and smart.
People love coffee, and a cup of joe that can have positive health benefits will appeal broadly to many people.
Just not at the prices we are seeing here.
Many people just don’t have $70 to spend on their coffee for the month—even if the coffee also serves as a vitamin of sorts.
Hey, none of these things are necessarily deal-breakers, as there is no such thing as an MLM that does not feature some hurdles that will need to be overcome.
Conclusion
At the end of the day, it is all on you.
If you feel that these products suit your lifestyle and you can agree with the price, then this might just be for you.
Do keep in mind that the main goal here or with any MLM is to recruit others that are willing to do the same.
If you can’t do that, then this might not be for you.
Multilevel marketing is not some walk in the park and it does require a lot of work.
With some hard work and the right training, you can very much succeed with this type of business.
