Be the Boss Product Overview

Be the Boss (BTB) is a website designed to show you the many different options when it comes to working from home. They “match” you with different opportunities that best fit the person you are. At least that’s what they say.

I didn’t waste my time trying to see what kind of business best suited me because I already know how that site works. There were just too many scams that were on there that I didn’t even bother.

No real product is offered with BTB but rather a bunch of networks that you can select from to try and start some kind of MLM or Online Marketing business. Some products on there are fair but MOSTLY VERY BAD ones.

There is one product on there that I was once a member of, which is called the Empower Network, and that will probably go down in history as the biggest scam to ever walk the face of the internet.

Anyways, that program is one that is featured in BTB and it is something I definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone trying to make money online.

Here is a complete review for the Be the Boss Network

BTB in a Nutshell

Let me just say this, to save you from going through the whole BTB Network nonsense that I’m about to talk about. BTB is designed the way it is, so that you can FEEL that you are getting offered the BEST product that matches you, which is a bunch of the oh so lovely baloney.

It is totally free to join BTB, because they will get their money once they recommend the product that best suits you. I do reviews and they have a bunch of scams that they will “recommend”, but probably have no idea what they really are about.

It is a great idea and they don’t get a commission from EVERY PRODUCT, (especially from the MLM companies they provide), but they do get a commission from most.

So when they “match” you with these products, they don’t care if you make money with them or not, BTB will make money no matter what.

I have tried many make money from home programs and I can honestly tell you that there aren’t that many good ones out there, but they are there. I only recommend a few that I KNOW work but that’s about it.

Click here to see one of the few that I know absolutely, positively works!

Who is BTB for?

According to the website BTB is for anyone looking to do business in Multilevel Marketing or any type of work from home business. It allows you to find the “perfect” online job for you so that you don’t have to do all the searching.

The Be the Boss Network is exactly like it says. It is a place for you to network and find other people that are doing the same things. BTB is for a complete newbie trying to find the right company that fits your needs. Besides listing a bunch of MLM Companies and what not, Be the Boss is not what it seems, read more and find out why.

Tools and Training for BTB

There is probably no tools or training being done at BTB.  As much as I like their marketing technique and business idea I just had to do a review and let people know what they’re getting themselves into.

There is a place where you create an account with BTB and oh boy is that an awesome idea.  I’m not being jealous but I would like to show you how this membership works and why you shouldn’t get involved.

I’m not too sure if you’ve heard or tried email marketing but that is exactly what they’re doing.  You give your email address and they have all the means of contacting you to promote anything and everything.  Yup, they’re “helping” you alright.  So there is no tools or any type of service offered at BTB but don’t let that fool you.  I’ll get more into that a little later in the review.

Pros VS Cons with the Be the Boss Network

Pros

  • Thousands of products to choose from
  • Great business idea
  • Nice Website

Cons

  • Bunch of scammy products
  • Bait the uneducated online marketer

Is there Support Offered with BTB

There is a FAQ section but that’s about it.  I mean, what would you need support for?  Once you purchase one of their products why would you need to contact BTB?  You will then have to deal with whomever you got the product from, not BTB.

Support is not something you are going to find with BTB so just be prepared to be on your own again.  Also be prepared to be getting some emails saying “have you tried this product?”.  It’s crazy how it works but some of us will never see it coming and yes, you will be scammed.

My Final Opinion of BTB

Although I like their business model, I think they should promote products that actually do work.  In case you didn’t know this, the creators of BTB actually get paid promoting some of the products and that’s why I actually like their plan.  They tell you “what’s best” and of course get a commission on the ones they choose.

Promoting products that don’t work is the bad part about BTB and that is why I gave them a really low rating even though they are “free”.  Don’t let the whole free thing fool you.

There are things out there though that you can get for free and boy do they work.  Here are some reviews of other products that you can take a look at and you can see what I’m talking about.

Great place to learn about certain programs, but with the amount of scams on there, I definitely don’t recommend BTB.

not-recommended

Verdict: Legit or Scam?

Be the Boss is not necessarily a scam, but something you need to be careful with.  If I was a complete newbie I would not know what I was getting myself into, just like you.

Don’t be quick to join the programs on their site, because some will end up costing you thousands of dollars, and believe me, you do not need to spend thousands to make thousands of dollars online.

Just because it’s free to sign up with BTB, don’t be fooled.  I really do like their idea though so I’m going to have to give them some props for that.  If only they had nothing but legit programs on there, then maybe it would be a great program, but that’s just not the case.

I hope this helps you with your search for a real work from home opportunity and hopefully you too can find success. Cheers!

The “Be the Boss Network”? I wouldn’t say it is a scam, but something you shouldn’t use. It is nothing more than a huge list of different programs that you CAN join and not something they actually use themselves. Not a scam Kendall, but definitely not something you should use to find a legitimate way to make money online.

    Hi John,
Considering probably 90% of money people are making from this is from Amazon affiliation, It might be a good idea to mention the states that cannot be affiliated with Amazon (Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Missouri, Rhode Island, or Vermont). I am from Maine and spent a bunch of time getting the site set up and I was actually excited to get traffic flowing, only to find out I cannot be affiliated with Amazon due to state sales tax laws. Please mention this in your article for everyones’ sake!

That’s a great idea Jackson, but that wouldn’t really apply to BTB. However, as an affiliate marketer, Amazon is not the only place to get products. Whatever your niche may be man, all you need to do is search “your product + affiliate program” and you will get more than enough products to promote on your site. Don’t think you’re just limited to Amazon my friend, because you have the whole internet to use in your advantage. I hope this helps.

Interesting take John. I’ve never done any kind of at home marketing or business but would like to try it in my spare time. I have a full-time job now, work 40 hours a week and don’t want to throw away the time I’ve put into the current company I’m with until I see results from an online business. It seems you may know what you’re talking about.

It is the “at home marketing” that will break you away from your job Jerry. I would definitely not tell you to quit your job (just yet), that would be insane. I do suggest you get started because this can totally be done on your free time. Good luck Jerry!

If you are completely new to the online world, I suggest you try Wealthy Affiliate. They will teach you everything you need to know about making money online. I actually learned everything I know through them and they will guide you through the whole thing. You can try it for free as well so you won’t even need a credit card. Let me know if you need any help with anything else Carla and good luck!
