Is Writing to Wealth a Scam or Can You Really Make Money With Short Articles?

July 5, 2018 //  by John

writing-to-wealth-reviewWriting is no joke and there are people making thousands of dollars doing it on the internet.

With such high numbers, Writing to Wealth seems to be one of those companies that claim to make you achieve such success but so do many other work from home opportunities.

Will this actually allow you to make the type of money they speak of or is this just another online scam?

Let’s dig a little deeper and you will see exactly what this site is about because within the 4 years of reviewing products online, I can’t even think of one writing site that I can truly say will make you thousands of dollars online.

There are sites like Contena that will show you how to build a writing business but other than that, you are better off making money with a blog, which is by far the best way for any writer to make a living.

With sites like the Wealthy Affiliate, you can get all the tools and training needed to create a real and lucrative writing business through your passion alone.

Now for those of you who are still interested in Writing to Wealth thinking that it will make you rich by next month, allow me to break things down for you so you can see why I despise sites like it.

Writing to Wealth Review – Product Overview

Writing to Wealth which is found at www.writingtowealth.com is a site that claims that you can start making money as soon as today.

By simply signing up, choosing one of their thousands of job listings and submitting work, you will make money.

Not just money but a lot of it if you land the right “jobs”.

You can get paid the same day to write short articles or blog posts for other sites.

They also claim that you don’t need any skills to make money and there are more than just writing jobs offered on their site.

Other jobs include:

  • Data entry
  • Proof reading
  • Social media posting
  • Reviewing restaurants
  • Review other websites for inappropriate content
  • Read and respond to emails
  • Edit and proof read written content
  • write your own blog posts

As you can see, the list is pretty extensive and there is actually more.

At least that is what they claim.

So Will Writing to Wealth Really Work?

Before even signing up to this site there are several things you need to look at before you think that you can make a career out of this.

For one, there is no indication of who even owns the site, which is a big no-no when it comes to any make money from home site.

On top of that, there is no instructions on what you will be getting besides access to thousands of jobs?

What they do have is a bunch of hype and stories that will have some of you thinking that you don’t want to work for anyone anymore.

Don’t fall for their marketing, please.

If you already opted into their email list, you were then prompted to pay.

You will be hit with their initial offer of $34 unless you try and close the page that will try to get you for $24.

Then comes more marketing and the so called proof.

Now do you see the site that paid them?

Hirewriters.com?

Well that is actually a legitimate site that can pay you for writing and that is one of the sites that Writing to Wealth will lead you to.

Here’s the issue I have with Writing to Wealth…

There is no training on what to do with these sites that they have in their listing and you can find them on your own if you simply searched “how to make money writing online”.

With sites like Upwork, freelancer, and many others (that are listed on Writing to Wealth), you can very much make some good money online.

People like me pay people on those sites to write articles for my sites and yes, I pay good money for it too.

The point is that you can do this all on your own without the help from any sites that you have to pay for.

Not to mention that there are some up-sells outside of the $24, which is just another way to get more money from you.

What You Can Really Make?

Writing for real people will definitely make you money but it does depend on your skill level.

So the claims made by Writing to Wealth can be very misleading and flat out not cool.

If you are a great writer, you can make as much as $100 per articles but you will need to be a very established writer with the credibility to follow.

For you mediocre writers, you can look at making anywhere from $10 – 20 per article, which will take at least an hour to craft.

In this day and age, you need some great content to get hired and you need to remember that you will be competing with thousands upon thousands of writers who are looking to make it online.

If you aren’t established and can’t product quality content, you will very much be wasting your time.

Final Verdict: Not Recommended

Is Writing to Wealth a Scam?

Not so much but definitely not going to do you any good.

Unless you feel like throwing money away, you really don’t need to join Writing to Wealth to make money writing.

Most people will call this a scam but I would just call this a waste of time.

At the very least, you know what you are getting yourself into and if it doesn’t work, you have no one to blame but yourself.

My Recommendation

For those of you who can call yourself a great writer, I recommend you go to sites like Freelancer or even Hire Writers but do not join Writing to Wealth.

Those sites are free to join and yes, you will make money writing.

Now if you want to make a solid income online, I will always recommend you try a program called the Wealthy Affiliate.

You will not only make the most money for your writing efforts but you will do it on topics that YOU actually enjoy.

They do offer a free trial, so you might want to try that first before you commit to anything.

Other than that, I hope this Writing to Wealth review has given you a better understanding of what you will be getting if you do join.

If you have any questions about this or any other opportunity for that matter, feel free to leave them in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading and good luck!
