Facebook is great for business if you use it for that but I see way too many people on there that promote 10 different products throughout the year.
By the time a new year comes around, they have made a couple of bucks here and there but nothing to brag about and nothing to get them out of the rat race.
If you can take a step back and look at what you have done all year, you can set yourself up for success by taking another route or you can continue doing what you did and end up back to where you started.

It is a never ending cycle but it doesn’t have to be if you can wake up and realize that what you are doing is not the way to make a living online.

“This is the One!”
I can’t even tell you how many promotions I get on Facebook on a daily basis and everyone seems to have that one product or program that will change your life forever.
Within the 3 years that I have been working from home full-time have I ever seen one of these companies flourish and most especially last.
To the people that promoted these products to me, how can you really say that you are truly trying to help me when you are now doing something else?
Like I said, it’s a never ending cycle of products that
You are Not Helping Anyone
Sure you want to come off as legitimately trying to help someone as the only way for you to make money is by having others join you in this so called “opportunity”.
By telling someone that this is the one product you need just so you can make money is not helping.
Then you try to promote another product and all of a sudden the other product is not the one anymore.
If you really take that step back and look at what you have done for the past year, you will see that you are really not helping anyone and only trying to fill your pockets.
This is also why you are most likely going to repeat the same cycle come this time next year.
People will then stop trusting you and eventually stop following you as you are definitely not trying to help.
Try Actually Helping
The real way to make money online is to help.
Don’t be like the gurus who target the make money from home niche (because everyone and their mothers are looking for it) and then lead them to some high ticket offer so that they can make money.
There is no real product and everything is designed for you to funnel these desperate people into a small offer that will eventually lead to them spending thousands of dollars.
Show others how to go through that same funnel and then you can make money.
Unless you’re a guru yourself or you own your own blog then you will definitely be at the bottom of the pile feeding everyone at the top.
Do you want to make money that way or give your money to one of the gurus?
Didn’t think so.
Offer Value
For anyone looking to make money online, you want to give others some type of value.
I have been apart of many different make money from home opportunities and almost all of them require some type of recruiting or they just don’t work.
So how do you provide value?
You give people real products that actually work.
Not just products that work but products that don’t require you to recruit others just so you can make money.
With all the ways money can be made online, affiliate marketing will always be the one true method that makes you money by giving away value.
I run different website that help people, offers value, and supplies that need they are looking for.
I run a dad blog that I use to help dads with parenting, buying products, and anything that dads need, which in turn pays me for my service.
Just like this blog you are on, I provide you with advice, opinions, and most especially legitimate products to help you make money online.
You don’t see me promoting a high ticket product to make money as it is not needed for me to make money.
Selling a $5,000 product on marketing so that you can be able to sell the same exact thing is just not how I roll.
My #1 recommended work from home program offers a small commission but I would rather help a thousand people make money and get a small commission, than to “help” two people fill my pockets.
Make Money Providing Value
The same program that I recommend to anyone looking to make money online teaches you how to give people what they are looking for and not just “how to make money online” products.
If you have a passion for designer handbags, then you can build a site that will pay you for showing people more information on exactly that.
Photography?
Build a site on that and make commissions from products that you don’t even own in the first place!
There’s nothing better than selling other people’s products without having to talk to anyone and that’s the beauty of doing business online.
Start YOUR Online Business
I have no problem with network marketing as I do believe it beats any of the Bitcoin based MLMs out there, but I do have a problem when almost everyone involved with them are running on a treadmill.
Either you get some solid network marketing training or you might want to start an online business.
Do not feel that MLM is the only way to go as there is affiliate marketing that absolutely works wonders.
I went from recruiting to running an affiliate marketing business and I now make my living completely online thanks to it.
If I can do it, I’m sure you can too so don’t feel that recruiting is the only way out of that 9-5.

Forget about what you’ve seen or heard about what works, that is one program that you at least need to try.
You can always repeat what you did this year but I’m sure you want to make real money without having to explain how awesome your opportunity is.

Quit chasing dreams.
I was once jumping from one program to the next with an income that was dependent on whether or not people would take the bait I provided but that is now a thing of the past.
By providing people with products they actually want and need, I am proud to say that I am apart of the 1% that makes a full-time income online.
So if you can look back at 2017 and your income was good for one week and then sucked for the rest of the year due to the lack of people joining you, this is a great time to start a new strategy.
Understand that helping people is the core to any business and that will take things to another level.
