The questions about these types of products can go on forever. Is Digital Altitude a scam? Can I actually make money? Is it even legit?
This Digital Altitude review will give you everything you need to know so that you can make a grown up decision on your own.
I am not affiliated with this company so you can expect nothing but an unbiased review of a program that I see being highly promoted on the web.
Digital Altitude Review
Name: Digital Altitude
Owner: Michael Force
Website: www.digitalaltitude.co
Price: $37/month (starting)
Overall Rating: 1.9/5 stars
I have no problem with high ticket items and I actually think they are great for any affiliate marketer as they will generate a higher commission with just one sale.
However, I do see a problem when it comes to complete newbies buying into these types of products without knowing that they will have to sell the same exact thing they just purchased if they want to make them $12,000 commissions.
Some will disagree (its members) with my review and others who know exactly how these things operate and have been apart of something similar will agree. That’s just how it is and there is no working around that.
For what it’s worth, here is my two cents on yet another controversial high ticket marketing training and digital platform.
What is Digital Altitude?
This is nothing more than an online training course (hence the name) on how to market your product/network marketing business.
It was created by Michael Force, who also threw in some multilevel marketing, which would be commonly portrayed as a ponzi or pyramid scheme.
With the chance to make a $12,000 commission, who wouldn’t be interested right? Well there’s more to it than just making that sale, so please pay attention before you get involved with something you might end up regretting.
Who This is For
Anyone interested in recruiting. I say this because that is the bread and butter of the whole idea behind this business.
This is great for anyone looking to make more commissions by selling digital products. It’s not what you’re thinking, so be careful.
I make a good income with regular old affiliate marketing and there’s nothing wrong with the commissions I make as I just provide people with what they NEED.
This type of training can be found for a lot less with sites like the Wealthy Affiliate, so get with the right program that doesn’t show you how to sell the same thing you just bought, charging you thousands of dollars to do so.
The Products
There is no actual product that comes with this, so just know that everything you purchase will come in the form of an online training video or some type of meet n greet retreat, which is not going to be cheap either.
So if you’re interested in purchasing some super expensive digital training, this might be something (or not) that might be of interest to you.
The Tools & Training
This is exactly what you will be paying for if you do decide to join Digital Altitude. Like the little climb to the top of a mountain, it all starts from the bottom.
Aspire – Basic, get your foot in the door type of product. Here you will get some sales funnels, access to the community, some tools and resources and other basic marketing stuff.
Base – Setting goals, building your brand, and creation of websites. More basic stuff, which will eventually lead into the higher ticket products.
Rise – This digital business master course will give you training on mindset. This is exactly how the Empower Network started their high ticket items with and I am actually turned off by this.
Ascend – This consists of a two day retreat (for two) where you will meet other network marketers that are promoting this, as well as the owner, “all under one roof”.
Peak – Another retreat. This time, it is going to be a 5 day all inclusive retreat for two that once again, brings in more “leaders” to teach you about success, management, and leadership.
Apex – This my friend is where you will get the commissions of all commissions. Instead of 5 days, you get a 7 day retreat (for 2 of course) where you will learn about wealth building, real estate, and asset management. The biggest reason behind this is for you to make that $12,000 commission.
You have now reached the top and you have now unlocked all avenues of getting commissions from Digital Altitude. To achieve this, it comes with a pretty hefty price tag.
The Price for Digital Altitude
Everything will always start at something affordable by most. As you progress in the training, you will then come across ways to purchase these hight priced items if they haven’t already gotten you with the marketing itself.
The theme with Digital Altitude is actually pretty cool. They use the whole start from the ground, and get to the top type scenario, which you will see below.
- Aspire – $37 or $67/month
- Base – $397 (one time payment)
- Rise – $1,497 (one time payment)
- Ascend – $6,997 (one time payment)
- Peak – $11,997 (one time payment)
- Apex – $19,997 (one time payment)
And yes you read every single one of those prices right. There are so many places to invest that much money into, but I don’t believe it should cost you thousands of dollars to make money online.
I make thousands of dollars online and I didn’t have to spend that much to do it either. I did lose money from trying to promote this type of stuff, but I can proudly say I am now back in the green!
If it wasn’t for a program called the Wealthy Affiliate, I really don’t know where I’d be.
Probably trying to get you to buy something like DA, which I don’t feel comfortable doing.
Making Money With Digital Altitude
The whole concept behind Digital Altitude is to sell Digital Altitude. I am not a big fan of selling something that I just bought in order to make money and this is nothing new.
A couple of years ago, a company called the Empower Network started this whole high ticket item gig, but there’s came in the form of 100% commissions to the affiliate.
I’m not going to get into that whole deal, but you can checkout my review of Empower Network here.
Okay I take that back, it was actually My Lead System Pro that started doing high ticket products, but the owners of Empower Network copied and tweaked it to their liking.
Digital Altitude is no different. Yes there is a chance to make thousands of dollars, but there is a catch. Of course there is.
In order for you to make any money with any of these high ticket products, guess what? You WILL have to purchase them yourself.
If you’re wondering how you will come up with this money or how in the world you will make these sales, that my friend is what you will be learning how to do.
You Close or They Close
If you were to make any of the sales in an allotted time, you can expect to make a 60% commission for each of your sales. Have the “client for life” coach close the sale and you only get 40%.
Cool and not cool, but it is what it is.
Pros & Cons of Digital Altitude
Pros:
- Awesome theme
- New product
- Could make you money
- Great training
- Functional website
Cons:
- Extremely pricey
- Requires you to purchase any products before you can make a commission
- Very Risky
- Requires recruiting
- No guarantees
- Not recommended
This is Just Not My Cup O’ Tea
I have dumped thousands of dollars into other sites like this and I can honestly tell you that I didn’t feel right doing what I was doing.
Although I could close these sales on my own, I really couldn’t see myself getting people to join under me knowing that 99% of them won’t even make a single sale.
To pay thousands of dollars for training on how to make these sales is not something you should be investing your money in.
Don’t let someone tell you that this will help y0u make sales with any product because we all know this is directed at promoting Digital Altitude.
Sell my lotions and potions gig and make $20 per signup, or sell Digital Altitude and make $12,000? This is how they’re expecting you to think, so just know that MLM will always be MLM no matter what the members say.
So is Digital Altitude a Scam?
I can tell you that it is definitely not a scam even if some people will tell you otherwise. Now I say this only because of the fact that they do have a “product”.
In the world of online marketing, all it takes is for you to have some type of product and you will be legit. Whether it be a diluted bottle of detergent or a digital product, you will be given the green light.
Don’t get me wrong, it does take a lot of time and effort to create these platforms, but the price and model behind things is not something I agree with. To each his own, right?
Personally, I can’t recommend this. There are many other sites just like this and this is not the first of its kind. A little late in the high ticket game and I don’t see this as a great way to make money online.
What I Really Think
After spending a whole year doing the whole high ticket gig and realizing that I wasn’t making anyone successful but the owners and somewhat myself, I ventured off into other things.
I cut my losses and moved on from something I felt uncomfortable doing. I only wish I could give those people back their money, but little do they know that I wasn’t winning either.
These days I find making money selling other people’s products as my top recommendation to anyone looking to make money online.
There is no better place to do this than the world wide web and I can truly say that I am happy doing what I do.
No more recruiting and no more getting people to join me in my latest and greatest MLM venture. I literally make money helping people get the products they already want in the first place and I do it with a clear conscience.
In the end, this is really up to you. If you are comfortable doing this type of stuff and you see yourself as having the network marketing personality, then this could work for you.
People are trying to make money online and it is almost impossible for most people to come up with this type of money. Let me just give you $20k and let’s call it a day shall we? Not!
I hope this review of Digital Altitude has given you all the information you need. If you have any questions or you have any experience with this, please do share them in the comments section below.
Even with my level of knowledge still can’t believe how they fleeced me, compared to what I have been reading about people who have lost more. Iqoptions has to be the worst and how they can lie is unbelievable making me loose my hard earned 120k Use was astonishing. After a year constant turmoil I was able to recover my full investment from Iqoptions so much thanks and gratitude to Geminihacks.com they were so professional and true to their word thank you so much. If you lost money trading Binary options reach out to Geminihacks.com.
I have to say I was curious what this review would be. I have seen others review Digital Altitude as a great company and investment. I can tell you firsthand that yes you can sell less and have quite the commission. I tried the Digital Altitude after I tried Mobe. They are identical but a different name. Even the training was identical, literally. With each of the companies you don’t get to finish even the training if you don’t buy the product first. I too would never recommend this company. Have you checked out Mobe yet? If not, you should and you will see it is the same exact thing. Michael Force worked for Mobe before starting Digital Altitude.
Yes I have heard of MOBE and/or MTTB and they are definitely the same thing. You have to be careful because they are coming up with different website names and it all leads to the same program.
Too many people see dollar signs and that’s all that gets them to join. They have no idea on how everything works, but they still buy something way overpriced simply because they want to make money.
Who ends up buying these products? People who don’t even have the money to begin with. They get loans, borrow money from their family and friends, and they are still not guaranteed to make any money.
In the end, it’s the owner of these products and it’s TOP affiliates that are winning while some people make a couple of sales here and there, and over 95% not making anything.
If the terms and conditions don’t let people realize what they are getting involved with, it’s always going to be that they are desperate for money.
I have done this before and I will NEVER promote anything like this again.
Question for everyone: how many of the the ‘mastermind’ events have they fulfilled in the last 1.5 years? None. This scheme is completely illegal. Michael Force is a scammer. Bankruptcy and ripping people off, he’s been doing it for years.
Anything that is commonly portrayed as a ponzi or pyramid scheme is real bad news for newbies to the internet marketing world….but unfortunately a lot of them still seem to go for this thing!
At the end of the day you are lumbered with products you thought were good…but in reality they are overpriced items that nobody really wants.
This guy, Michael Force, should take a long hard look at himself in my book – a scammer
I just ran into a one of the Digital Altitude affiliates on Facebook and after a short conversation, he became really pushy when I started asking him some questions about the program. “Just buy the $1 trial and see for yourself”. I asked if I had to pay money and if so how much. It is funny that he couldn’t be honest about the $20K price for just one of the upgrades.
After doing research, I also noticed that a similar program was suing these guys. I guess when the people promoting such a program behave like this, they typically don’t stick around too long. If an affiliate can’t even give me the honest good about what a program is, then I am sorry I have to walk. Good review here of what appears to be a really confusing and secretive program. I guess that’s how they trick people into paying a crazy sum of money for their “digital” goods.
Sorry to hear about that Michael and I hope you’ve found something that actually works. There is nothing really worth that much money online and it is all for the sole purpose of making affiliates and the owner huge commissions. As much as I can tell people about this and make money, it is just not something I agree with. I have been with a similar company and after realizing that I was recruiting people so that I can make money while they most likely won’t make anything, I knew I had to get out. It’s just not ethical.
Hi John,
Thanks for your review about Digital Altitude and I was shocked to know that they charge $20k for some $12k commission that can’t be guaranteed.
Same as you, I don’t agree with the idea of getting others to sell something that they need to bought themselves first unless this is something that they really need and can be used to improve their life. And of course, at the affordable pricing.
By the way, how long is the Digital Altitude has been present in the market? If the retreat is all about getting few professional trainer to train you on success, leadership and marketing skill and no further follow up support after that, I myself still prefer to go for some training course that provide continual follow up support
Hmm…
I am not a member of DA but be honest here. It’s a top tier business. Nobody is forcing you to join. If you have money join or ignore.
There are so many people out there who have made a lot of money but that didn’t come easily. There is a lot of work behind. May be few sales is enough to quit your day job.
Every opportunities you see there will be some ups and down. So it’s up to the folks how they want to treat and go forward. Cheers!
Hi John, saw your review on DA. But as for your top recommendation it so unfortunate that I cant join because my country isn’t supported please can you help with this.. I will be greatful
Hey Saheed where is your location?
Hi there,
Very well written and informative review! With so many scam sites out there these days, it’s of utmost importance to do your research before you take the time to invest in something, it’s just money out of our pockets that we can’t afford to lose! Thanks for the wonderful review.
Thanks Sarah and you are definitely right. I was apart of a couple of these high ticket type products and I will never get involved with another one. I’m glad you are smarter than most!
Hey John,
Great review, I loved it. Mainly because even though I have never been involved with this particular program before, I have been involved with similar programs. Like Empower Network for example. I have actually gone from one MLM to another trying to make BIG money online only to be spinning my wheels not getting anywhere. Because of my experiences, I am actually of the opinion now that all MLM’s even if they have legitimate products to sell so that legally they aren’t considered pyramid’s are all scams. I know that is strong wordage there and I know that a lot of people will disagree with that but that is just how I feel.
I am soooo glad that I came across Wealthy Affiliate when I did. No recruiting, No up-sells, No pressure, Free to join, build a real business at your own pace at an affordable price, etc.
Thanks again for the great review and I wish you all the best.
~David.
Very good review. And these guys have the gall to advertise those prices for their products? And the recruiting bit is just too pyramid schemey in my opinion. For this price, I’ll buy a few wealth creation training books and retreat to the Alps taking it along as reading material.
So they are selling training programs it seems. But for that much?!? You can go to 4 year universities for waaay cheaper than that. Why on earth would anyone pay for those?? That seems crazy to me. The most expensive one is basically $20,000. That is absolutely insane. haha If I had an extra 20k lyin around I’d most likely invest in a much different business.
Believe it or not, there are people that will pay that price. That’s the price of a car! What sucks even more is that you might not even make a single penny just from purchasing any of the packages here.
John I signed up with digital altitude a week ago I am still within my two weeks trial how do I get out and will they just take my money fron my card within the the first two weeks
I’m not affiliated with these guys so I wouldn’t know how, but you definitely want to cancel or they will pull it from your credit card.
I join also, and now I wana get out before they pull money off my card
I got into this Ponzi too unfortunately and you need to cancel within 14 days. I cancelled but they still haven’t refunded me yet so I’ll dispute it with my bank. This absolutely wreaks of Ponzi/pyramid. After all the initial videos I asked the first sales guy “so this looks like I’m just trying to sell this lifestyle to people like myself” and the guy said no. I was 100% correct. You’re selling a position in the pyramid. There is no product. If you don’t scam the next guy you get zilch.
You know, this doesn’t sound too bad in theory, but honestly I just wonder why bother with a site like this when there are far better and cheaper options. I’ve achieved much more success than that at Wealthy Affiliate and I’ve only been here for about two weeks.
Good article, it always bugs me to see sites like this that honestly aren’t really “scamming” anybody sure, but they aren’t entirely helping anybody either.
That’s actually a great way to put it Jaylin and I couldn’t have said it any better. Knowing that a lot of people will just be paying the people above them is not cool at all and I don’t see how anyone could even get their family and friends to do something like this. This is not an opportunity.
The three things I stay away from when it comes to a “work at home” solution…pricey, risky, and requires recruiting! Any boy is it pricey. Those retreats are ridiculous and are you still guaranteed to make the $12,000? So you spend way over that, with the Apex being close to 20K. Doesn’t seem like you are really doing that well with these numbers.
I liked your post.
I have been involved in this kind of high tickets products like Empower Network and is a waste of time and money.
Digital Altitude is the same thing and for me is a scam because promise makes money online overnight, and that doesn’t exist.
If you want to make money online, you have to work hard like any another job. I have had involved in Wealthy Affiliate program that you are recommending, and this is the right place where you can make money. It is an honest program, and their owners are always active and helping people like you and me.
Excellent review about digital altitude and whether it is a scam or legit. I would agree with you that it is not a scam just as many MLMs are legit as well by the way they set up their compensation plan. The fact is as you mentioned most people would not make any money and in the long run, most of them lose their money trying these types of systems.
It’s like everything I try to join operates like an MLM where I have to sell the products to make money. Is there a way that you can make money without doing this?
Hey Travis, thanks for the kind words. There is definitely a way to make money without having to sell the same products you just bought and this is why I always recommend a program called the Wealthy Affiliate. There are a few that offer the same type of training, but that is definitely my #1 recommendation. Click here to see a full review on this so you can see exactly how you will make money using their training.
Thanks for the frank discussion about these big ticket products.
I’ve been paying over $350 per year for an affiliate marketing training platform but it’s so worth it because I get secure and unlimited web hosting with it, as well as awesome support. There we have some members who are like you, been there done that.
For me I have always avoided paying for things that seem too expensive and looking at your review of digital altitude, you’d actually have to pour in around $40,000 before you can earn the $12,000! No fun at all! I’d rather invest that in stocks!
I’ve seen this product for a while online and it baffles me that someone would actually pay thousands to some fancy pants organization to learn about online marketing.
There’s really no secret on how to start an online business these days. A domain name would cost about $14/year, a good WordPress hosting about $40-50/year and a decent training course somewhere between $100-$200. The total sum doesn’t even mount up to $500.
If you really need to pay $20K for a digital product, you might as well open a franchise. At least that’s more promising since it’s a real-life business that people can touch and see.
Even just $10k for anything digital is completely insane. Also when people of these high ticket products call you, it makes you feel like you’re doing something wrong. I have given into this type of stuff before and I will never spend more than $500 for a product online. Hey, I learned the hard way, but I’m glad I have managed to make all that back and then some. I’m glad you can see the big picture Cathy and I hope things are going great for you and whatever business venture you are currently pursuing. Cheers!
I’ve never heard of DA before and for good reason. I was just now researching it and I’m glad I found your review because you just spared me a good 40 dollars which I can use on actually useful things.
I’ve checked with your recommendation and it seems pretty legit . I think I’m gonna give it a go with the free membership
$40 is only the start too so don’t’ forget that you will have to pay more. Glad to have helped!
Hey John, great review of digital altitude, and a nice site as well, some great information! These are just the types of fancy packaged schemes a lot of people would unwittingly buy into. They are presented to the target (and I do mean target) as a way to easily make money with a minimal amount of effort and in this case with no real product or service. I am glad to hear that you steer clear of promoting products like this, because through your website and your writing it is clear you have the ability to promote them and effectively (not a knock on either by the way, but a compliment – not everyone has the ability to sell, promote or inform online). Keep up the good work and thanks for the heads up on digital altitude.
Michael
Thanks Michael! Everyone wants to make money online and a bunch of these make money from home programs are nothing more than a “buy this to sell it” type of business. I’m all about reselling and business, but these types of models don’t fly in my book. I was apart of several of these and the only thing different with them are the price and the owner. Some cost thousands like this, but they all have the same product, which is marketing training on how to promote the same exact thing you just bought.
I mean, what are you really selling?
One can say that you are selling marketing training to promote your own business, but this is all a way to have some type of product or you will be very well on your way to the scam category. In the end, it is really up to the person. If you think this is something you want to do, then go for it. At least you know what it’s all about.
And yes, you are right, I can promote absolutely anything on this site (scams included) and I can make thousands of dollars just by telling you it works. I just don’t.
There are only a few solid ways to make money from home and as of now, Wealthy Affiliate is still my #1 recommendation. No recruiting, doesn’t require you to sell them, and you are in full control of your own business. Not to mention their free starter membership that offers boatloads of knowledge. Amazing business model that has allowed me to make the money I’ve been trying to make all this time.
Other than that, it is what it is. Thanks for the comment Mike and I hope you have found something that has worked and is working for you as there aren’t many.
When I first looked at online marketing a few years ago I was with a similar company and Michael Force was one of the top sales guys there at the time so he is probably a pro at selling these sorts of products.
However most of us can only aspire to make sales of products in this price range, and those that can afford it probably don’t need to buy something like this anyway.
Yeah just like you said, MOST can’t afford to buy any high ticket items, but the sad part is that those are also the ones that put in their life savings just to lose it all. These types of products are designed this way and they are just overpriced hype that most people won’t make money with.
Thank you John, this article of yours confirmed many of my suspicions concerning DA! And of course your article also helped me to make a clear decision whether or not I will stick with DA. Thank you again.
Not a problem Michael and I hope you have found something that suits you perfectly!
Well said. It will cost you $57967 to buy all the products. The little money you make at each level is consumed into buying the next level. If you quit you leave empty handed, all products are just for promoting an opportunity.
That is pure insanity. Who in their right mind would spend this sort of money on online information…and who in their ethical mind would promote such a program. Shame on Digital Altitude for taking advantage of people like this and I am fortunate to have read this review and the your comment about the real price before trying their $1 so called trial.
You don’t pay that much. You go to the next level after paying. So the most you would pay is the $20k. With that, you get an all inclusive 7 day retreat for 2.
Good article, but i really refute your idea of impossible. As you said ASPIRE require big investment to start. It is not the system’s fault anyway..
If you can afford then you can…
Yes Ramesh, if you can afford it then you can, but is that what’s going to make you money? You will need to get people to do the same exact thing you just did in order to make back just your initial investment alone. The model is not new my friend and there are many other programs like it. In the end, it is really up to you. At lest you know what you’re getting into right?
John
That’s right…i got it.
How about WA, is it really converting because i was part WA and managed to get 412 free members but after three months none have upgraded…40% of people are from USA. Only 30% from India. The rest are mixed locations.
Can you show me some statistics so i can rejoin may be under you…i have no problem in bringing people but it seems …you know what i meanT..
WA is not a recruiting based platform and it’s not about promoting them even if it’s an option. WA teaches you how to create YOUR OWN business and it can be on any product rather than something that requires you to get others to join in order to make money. Digital Altitude is what it is and if recruiting is what you like, then so be it.
Now have you earned from DA? How do you say something is “top notch” if you’re not even making money with it? That’s really what you need to think about. Great training and all, but what do they really teach you? How to promote them of course, simply because of the high ticket items. This is nothing new and I can promote this if I really wanted to, but I’m not into getting people to signup under me so I can get paid.
WA and DA are two different animals and something you can’t even compare. There is really nothing out there like WA and that’s the truth. Digital altitude…recruiting. Wealthy Affiliate…sell other people’s products to make money.
I see you promoted WA and didn’t convert well either. I don’t care if you signup under me or not, but I’m sure I can help you convert better. In the end, you need to ask yourself this.
“What do I really want to do?”
Figure out if it’s recruiting or affiliate marketing and then move forward. You are not going to make money trolling the net for reviews, so make a decision and go from there.
