Finding a job in the real world is already complicated. Finding online jobs that work can be just as complicated, due to the hundreds of scams out there. Here are the top 5 jobs that can definitely make you some money and I know for a fact will pay you for your efforts. Some may not pay as well as others, but trust me, they do work!
1. Blogging
This has got to be one of the best jobs in the world. Not only do you work from home, but you get to do it anywhere (with internet of course). You work when you want to and you have no one to answer to but yourself.
However, there is a big misunderstanding when it comes to blogging. Most people think that it is nothing more than talking about your life and nothing more. There is a lot more that needs to be learned before you count blogging out.
I remember when I asked a buddy of mine if he ever thought about creating his own blog and his response was “I don’t want everyone knowing my business”.
That was it. He didn’t want to hear my two cents and he just wanted to continue on with college so he can get the “dream job” that He always wanted.
Believe it or not, he will never make more money than I do as a blogger and he will never understand what it really is about. Given the proper training and guidance, you can make a killing just from blogging.
I seriously know this dude who WAS a doctor and quit simply because he was making way more money than he did as a doctor. True story.

2. Freelance Writing
Although you will not make as much with this, it absolutely works. You can go to sites like freelancer.com or Odesk and they will hook you up with people that need your writing services.
The pay can range anywhere from $50 – $70 per hour. If you decide to do it with sites like Fiverr.com, be prepared to earn $5 for every article you write. Although it can add up, it will take some work.
I always recommend writing for yourself, but if you don’t want to create your own website, then you can always write for other people and of course get paid a lot less.
Nonetheless, freelance writing online does work and you can definitely make money freelance writing.

3. Become a Virtual Assistant
This is one of those jobs that sometimes doesn’t even feel like you’re working. Again, this can be done online, and it does work.
Just like you would in a normal “assistant” position, you will be doing exactly that, only through the internet.
You can literally have your boss in Dubai, while you’re in the comfort of your home in the middle of nowhere, Kentucky.
This job has several requirements to include:
- Data entry
- Scheduling of events
- Experience with office programs like Microsoft Word
- Experience with computers
- A compute
This is a fairly easy job and if you do a great job, it can come with a bonus. Depending on who hires you, this can make you some extra money.

4. Website Design
If you have that artistic skill, there are a ton of people looking for you to work for them. Unlike these big web design companies that charge an arm and a leg, you can charge a little less and make some quick cash.
This is a lot more complicated than it seems and is something you might want to do if you’re really good with web design.

Whether it’s creating a captivating headline for a website or making a goofy video for someone to promote their product, there are many things that you can do that will make you money.
I mentioned a site called Fiverr.com earlier in regards to writing, but there is a lot more that can be done with that site.
Personally, I was on the paying end, and I have paid other people to do several things for me. I did try to get a header done for this site, but I got what $5 was worth.
You on the other hand, can do almost anything and make 5 bucks for it. There are so much silly stuff on there but believe it or not, they make sales!
