Doing business online is definitely not for everyone but it can be for a lot of us if you make it that way. Sometimes people don’t do online marketing because they are discouraged and care too much about what other people think. I’ll admit, when I first started online marketing I was very, very skeptical. Along with being skeptical, I didn’t want anyone to know what I was doing because I thought they would think I’m crazy.
There was only 2 people that knew what I was doing and it was my ex-girlfriend and a co-worker that I worked with directly. That co-worker of mine was so confident in my ability to do what I was doing which was one of the reasons I never quit doing this wonderful business. I have no regrets and I wouldn’t change this job for anything. Here are the top 5 reasons people DO NOT take on business online.
Let’s admit it, not everyone can do online marketing and we all have our reasons. Here are the top 10 reasons some people don’t even get started online even though I believe that anyone, and I mean ANYONE can change their life with online marketing. I know this sounds so cliche but you will not make it if you don’t believe, true story.
1.) No Support
Most of you would probably get little to no support from your significant other which is totally fine. I was lucky enough to have my other half (at the time) support me with my online business. Even though I wasn’t making any money she still believed because there was this fire in my eyes that showed her this is what I wanted to do.
There will be negativity or people that think you are wasting your time but that is what separates us from the rest of the world. We will make the sacrifice that most people won’t do now to make it later on down the road. Let them talk my friend, you will see who is laughing in the end.
2.) Afraid to Try
some of us are scared, flat out scared. Scared to try this, scared to try that. Fear of doing anything is normal especially with all the talk about online scams and what not. Fear never hurt anyone but rather made them that much more skeptical about where your life is headed.
In most cases, people will settle for whatever they have going for them. I once used to tell a coworker of mine to never settle. If you settle for paycheck to paycheck then that is totally up to you. Just know that there is a lot more out there that you can do to get off the treadmill.

3.) Negative Comments
Negative comments is something that you probably won’t get but is something you might be afraid of. I’ll be honest with you, I never made money online until my 3rd month but oh boy did it take off. When it rains it pours is right.
Let people say what they want but remember that it is your life. I was never once skeptical about doing business online but rather curious as to what actually worked. I wasn’t stupid to believe the first scam I ran into but I needed to see what they had to offer. That’s just me though, stubborn.
Whether it be something positive or something negative, people are always going to talk. In one ear, out the other, that’s how you deal with it. These people will be talking for the rest of their lives and will not get anywhere past you, trust me on this one.
4.) Financial Status
Some people are too scared because they “don’t have enough money” to start an online business. Let me tell you something. The exact same school that taught me everything I know about online marketing is now offering a FREE membership. I can say that’s a bunch of BS because I had to pay to even start on one lesson.
I’m not going to complain because it was worth every single penny I put into this business. If you are ready to get started with a small budget then this is your chance. There is a free membership but there is also a great deal if you go premium in the next 7 days. Just trust me on this one, it is worth it! There is still the free stuff offered there which you can be using until you get the money but trust me my friend, it is worth it.
5.) Don’t have Enough Time
This is the biggest reason people don’t even start doing business online and that was once my problem as well. Before I got serious online I tried to run a bar and that was a complete flop. I tried to do too many things at one time and of course something’s gotta give. I chose online marketing, can you believe that? Best decision I have ever made in my life.
When doing business online or any business for that matter, you are going to need to treat it like a baby. That is going to be your money maker so you need to treat it like one. If you go at it half ass then you should expect the exact results.
Giving up a job for online marketing is a crazy thing to do and I wouldn’t suggest doing that but you can actually do both. One hour a day is all you need to get this business up and running as well as creating some income. Eventually you will be able to quit your day job and live the life people would only dream of.
6.) Current Job
Your current job is a big factor in your online decision as well as any decision in life. Like I said above, you can do both until you are able to sustain yourself with an online income. So the whole 9-5 excuse is not going to work here. Isn’t that most people’s goals when they do business online, to quit their crazy J-O-B? Sometimes I don’t understand some people
Most people would say I can’t give up my job because it pays the bills. To be honest with you, I hate hearing that. Most people are just lazy or are afraid of change. Breaking out of your comfort zone is going to be the stepping stone to becoming your own boss. If you can’t accept change then don’t expect your bank account to change either.
7.) Been there done that
There are actually a lot of people out there that have gave some type of online marketing or MLM business a shot and got no where and eventually quit. There are too many scams out there that make people believe they’re going to make this much money because they show all their flashy things. The nice cars, to the nice vacations, they flash it all.
The people at the bottom of this pyramid scheme will eventually get tired of losing friends and recruiting and eventually quit. They will be left looking for the next shiny little object or just quit completely.
There are only a couple of great online opportunities out there and a few you can trust. I remember when I first came across the online world and the businesses it had to offer, I was so lost. I came across this so called mentor of mine that I trusted with everything I was doing. She eventually abandoned me but that is totally fine with me. You know what, I’m going to write about this lady. moving on…
8.) I don’t Know how to use a Computer
There are probably as many people that are intimidated by the online world just as much as they fail. Would you believe me if I told you that I didn’t graduate with my High School class? Trust me, I am not the smartest person nor am I some kind of computer geek, but I do know how to use a computer. Now do you think I learned this on my own? Yes I did!
I never thought I would be writing things like this but look at me now. You know how you make this possible? You practice! Practice doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to be perfect but it definitely will make you better at whatever it is you are doing. Jordan didn’t become great by doing nothing my friend, he practiced, over and over again. That is exactly what you need to do with your online business.
9.) Don’t know the Possibilities
Most people will never know what online marketing will do for them because they don’t know what the internet can do to change their lives. Let me give you a few figures and you let me know what you think about it.
Did you know that there are billions of people on the internet every single day spending billions of dollars? Well that is what is going on my friend and can you imagine how much money is circulating online that you can tap into? There is literally no ceiling with the online world and that is what made me want to get into this business.
The possibilities are endless my friend and you need to see what there is to learn and take advantage of my friend. You can do so much with so little money and that is what really amazes me.
10.) Online Marketing?
Most people don’t even know that they can make money on the internet and they have no clue as to what online marketing really is. You probably think that you are doing some type of selling like how a retail store is ran or something but that is not what it’s about.
Online marketing is marketing different products through blogs/websites while making sales in the process. Although it sounds pretty simple, there are some things you need to know so that you create an effective blog that converts. There are so many online opportunities and I do suggest the #1 school that has helped me get to where I am today.
Should you do Business Online?
With everything being said I want to leave you with a couple of words. Although there are so many positive things that come out of doing business online I want to let you know that this business is not going to run itself. If you plan to get on board then please give it your all. If you don’t believe and are just curious as to how much you will be doing then just save the little energy you have and use it on shopping at Walmart.
