Has someone on Facebook or another social media outlet promoted 1 Dollar Tasks to you claiming that they are making money with this free to join program?
Well, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this is just another too good to be true scam that you might want to avoid or you will have bigger problems later.
I have been taken for a ride by one of these sites in the past and it was simply because I was under the impression that I had “nothing to lose”.
That alone was enough to get me in trouble with a very similar site, so I recommend you read this review if you still believe that you are going to make money with a site like this.
I know it might look legit and you probably want your $10 bonus but really think about things before you not only waste your time but also lose more than you came here for in the first place.
1 Dollar Tasks Review

Overall Rating: 0/5 Stars (SCAM)
So What is 1 Dollar Tasks Anyways?
Another get paid to do simple tasks site that promises to pay you for things like downloading apps, taking surveys, and sharing posts on Facebook.
There is no indication of who owns the site and just like the other scams of its kind, they leave little information on what you will be doing.
If you still believe that this site will actually pay, allow me to show you some of the red flags that these types of sites come with.
What to Watch Out For
So we already have no clue as to who owns or runs the site but I can tell you that it is not someone from the US and the same scammers are usually operating out of the Philippines, which is why you will see a lot of filipinos being the first to find out about these sites.
Then we have the poor grammar.
I don’t care what type of site you’re running or where you’re from but when it comes to dealing with money, there is no reason why you can’t use the right words.
When they say “trails”, they actually mean trials and although some of you may overlook relevant, that’s another misspelling.
I do have to give these guys credit as this time they have the dollar signs in the right places unlike before when they put it after the numbers.
The biggest sign of a scam is the fact that they don’t have any contact information or income disclaimer of some sort on their site.
That my friend is very much needed for any site that is making some type of claim that you will make money.
I must say that unlike Dollars in Job (another one of their scams), this one actually has a domain name that makes sense!
They have improved but this is not good for those of you that judge a book by it’s cover, as the site looks pretty good.
How The Scam Works
A lot of you might be saying “but it’s free, how are they scamming anyone?” and that’s exactly what gets people in trouble to begin with.
They join because it’s free and some of you might get a little careless and that’s when they will take advantage.
Remember the form that you had to fill out in order to get registered?
Well that’s part of their plan, which goes hand in hand of when it comes time to getting paid.
Part of the getting paid process requires you to put in your Paypal information in order to get paid.
What they then do is try to match the password you used to signup with 1 Dollar Tasks and then login to your Paypal account, from which they will try to transfer money to their account.
If they can’t get anything there, they will try to target other sites that you use.
So if you used the same password to create your 1 Dollar Tasks account and any other account you own, now would be a great time to change it.
That’s how the scam works, so think twice before thinking that you have nothing to lose.
But There’s Payment Proof!
This is the worst part about everything here.
People whom you know will get on Facebook and start showing you that they have in fact made money with this site when they really didn’t.
If you see someone’s screenshot of the money they’ve made, you will see that it’s from the 1 Dollar Tasks site and not through their Paypal account or check.
You can have $1,000,000 in your 1 Dollar Tasks account but I can promise you that you will not be able to cash out a single penny from that site.
Another thing they try to do is get you to pay for something before you can pull your money out, so please do not give into that too.
1 Dollar Tasks is Nothing But a Scam
I know we all want to make money online but you have to remember that there are thousands upon thousands of scams out there and only a handful of legit programs out there.
If you can remember a few things, you will be able to tell the difference between a scam and a site that actually works.
One, making money online requires either hard work, an investment, and in most cases, both of them.
Sure there are ways to make money with surveys but they will not pay you no $10 just for joining but rather a couple of cents.
The second thing you need to know is that if something seems too good to be true, then it most likely is.
Follow those simple things and you will be good to go.
Conclusion
Scams are all over the internet and you just need to be a little smarter than most or you will be making these scammers more money.
I have done many reviews on these sites but they have actually changed up their website template and improved their grammar, which kind of caught me off guard.
In the end, it’s just your typical scam with an unknown owner that is just waiting for one of you to make a wrong move.
I have had this happen to me before, so do yourself a favor and avoid the 1 Dollar Tasks scam or you’ll have more problems from something that could’ve been easily avoided.
Don’t be desperate, be scam smart and always, always, do your research.
