I had to do a review on the Article Factory as I’m sure a lot of you bloggers that rely on SEO for your traffic might get what you bargained for and then some.
However, this bargain might come in a bad way, so it would be wise to read this post to the end or risk losing a business that you worked so hard for, all because you wanted to take advantage of an offer that seemed legit.
Most (if not all) of you might have found The Article Factory through an email that is linked to your website’s contact page as that is how they are gaining access to your email in the first place.
And as a blogger, who wouldn’t be interested in some articles for only $1?
Well, let’s see what this site is really about before you even give them a penny of yours.
So What is The Article Factory?
The Article Factory is specifically designed for bloggers who are looking to get articles for their blog.
Unlike Fiverr.com or other article directory type sites, the marketing behind this service is not very typical.
Like I mentioned earlier, they target blogs that are in need of content and market to them through their contact forms.
The way it is done is also not from a single person as I get the same emails from all my sites at once, which is what really prompted this review.
So after finally “checking it out”, I was able to see if the whole $1 deal is true but most especially if it is legitimate and beneficial to your site.
Can You Really Get Articles For $1?
You sure can but I wouldn’t recommend it.
They already started spamming you through some kind of software and that is just brushing the surface.
If you really pay attention to the information on their site, you can see that they already have poor grammar.
And that is only a preview of what their work will look like.
But with their claim of having 100% unique articles that will pass CopyScape test, it is almost impossible not to at least give it a try.
Is There a Catch?
For $1, I’m sure you were skeptical about these articles, especially with all the spamming that they do.
However, these articles will cost you $1 each but you have to at least order 5 as that is their minimum requirement.
You are also only allowed to use two words as keywords, per article so you can see what you will be getting.
These articles are usually around 500 words and the grammar is not the greatest.
So you know you aren’t going to get ranked and they might actually hurt your overall site if you’re not careful.
Besides that, you will get what you pay for and unless you like being spammed, I would opt-out of their email list as they will be sure to contact you so they can try and sell more articles.
Do You Like Spam?
I run several websites that are in various niches but for some reason, I managed to get an email about the Article Factory on each of them.
Are they really that good?
Do they have a huge team that can go out there and email each and every single one of us individually?
Of course not.
These types of sites use some kind of software that is able to use our contact pages, from which they will then be able to send out the same email to every single person that is using a specific type of contact form plugin.
I use Contact Form 7 and a lot of you do as well, so be aware of what is happening.
Final Verdict: Spam
I wouldn’t necessarily call the Article Factory a scam as they do offer a service but the way they go about marketing is where I have to disagree with things.
Some of you will think of these $1 articles as a great way to get a jump start on a post but when you really think about it, you will see that 500 words is something you can blab about on your own.
That’s how it went when I started this review and now it is just about a thousand words long.
Final Thoughts
If you want to be a blogger and make money online, you will always want to stick with the basics and never settle for anything like what The Article Factory has to offer.
If outsourcing is what you want to do, you are going to have to pay good money just for a decent article.
Now if you want great quality, then you will have to pay some really good money to get it.
I have outsourced a lot of the content on my blogs and I have dabbled in many services, so I know exactly what to expect with them.
I personally like UpWork and Onlinejobs.ph but the pricing there is not going to be anywhere close to $1.
Fiverr is a decent place to start but you will have to worry a lot about poor grammar and duplicate content, so I wouldn’t recommend you go with them either.
At the end of the day, I think with some practice and a little effort, you can get better at blogging and you will produce some better content than what the Article Factory has to offer.
