Elite Blog Academy Review – Pricey But Might Be Worth It

Last Updated: December 12, 2017 //  by John

Elite Blog Academy (3.0) has had many mixed reviews so I just thought I’d add my two cents.

Is this really a legitimate way to make money with a blog or is this just another scam?

So many questions, which I would like to provide answers to, so let’s dig a little deeper into EBA.

Blogs have really taken the world by storm to the point that the newspaper industry is crumbling, and even your grandparents may very well have a favorite blogger.

Indeed, the blog is so ubiquitous in nature that the super-saturation is a problem for people looking to get into the business themselves.

It’s really easy to start a blog, and often enough, it is pretty affordable as well. What’s the problem then? The problem is that everyone is doing it. It’s going to be hard to grow an audience when your article needs keep with millions of other similar titles.

It can be difficult standing out in the digital age which is why sometimes even very good writers could use a little bit of a helping hand.

That is why today we will be taking a look at the website EliteBlogAcademy to see if it is a good fit to take your online presence to the next level.

So What is Elite Blog Academy?

The name really does tell you just about everything that you need to know about this website as it’s exactly that.

An academy, for blogging.

For the specifics, you need to dig a little bit deeper and that’s what we’re going to do.

Elite Blog Academy is a program founded by blogger Ruth Soukup, which she designed to help other writers find success with their websites.

Ruth’s original business was to simply run her own blog—a page about living a full and happy life within a reasonable budget, but she found that the first few years of this process was full of frustrating trials and tribulations.

Ruth claims to have made many mistakes during that time, especially during the first year, and once her blog finally did find success, she wanted to share what she had learned with people like her.

She did exactly that, in the form of a book titled “How to Blog for Profit Without Selling Your Soul.” The book did well, and led to Ruth engaging in extensive consultation work with struggling bloggers.

Eventually, this work became the Elite Blog Academy, a step by step program for helping writers monetize their blogs.

It sounds great, doesn’t it?

Of course it does.

Everyone wants to boost their blog revenue, but can Elite Blog Academy actually help you do it? Let’s find out as we now take a look at some of key factors in this program.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • A lot of Successful Graduates: If you type in Elite Blog Academy you are going to find loads of testimonials from writers who have graduated from the course and subsequently found significant financial success.

Does that mean that the program will necessarily work for you? No, it definitely does not but it is at least helpful to know that it is working for some people.

  • Comprehensive: The program is comprehensive enough to include helpful information for new and experienced bloggers alike. If you already have a website and just can’t quite make it pop the way that you would like to, this site is going to be able to help.

The program features information on everything from zeroing in on your content, to growing your audience, to making money and expanding your business.

If you are looking for a program that covers all your bases this one is certainly a viable option.

  • Authority: Ruth definitely does know her stuff. It’s a significant pro that the woman who has organized this site knows what it is like to be a struggling blogger. That understanding helps to make the content understandable, relatable, and comprehensive.
  • You’ll be Able to Finish it: If blogging is your side hustle you may very well barely even have enough time to commit to it, let alone an online course. It’s a predicament that Elite Blog Academy seems to be well-aware of.

That is why the program is designed to be comprehensive enough to teach you everything that you need to know, but also succinct enough that you will be able to learn it in a reasonable amount of time.

  • Questions and Answers: One of the more unfortunate characteristics of most online courses is that there is no individualized attention or feedback. To a certain extent, Elite Blog Academy does still suffer from this, but they have offset the problem a little bit with live video question and answer segments.

Once a month, website founder Ruth Soukup hosts a questions and answers segment in which members of the community can ask anything that they want and receive individualized feedback.

Even if you can’t think of anything to ask Ruth at the time, you will still probably benefit from hearing what your peers are dealing with.

Cons:

  • It’s Crazy Expensive: Does the phrase “crazy expensive” sound a little bit too editorialized? It does, doesn’t it? Ok, fair enough but for what it is worth this site really will set you back a few dollars.

While the price changes often enough that it is impossible to say exactly what you will be paying, you can expect to find the Elite Blog Academy Program available for somewhere around four hundred dollars.

Is four hundred dollars going to bankrupt you?

I certainly hope not, but I am also well-aware of the fact that it is enough money to be a significant financial burden on many households.

It’s a program that is designed for struggling bloggers, but the catch is that it is available for a price that most struggling bloggers cannot realistically afford.

Personally, I prefer a program called the Wealthy Affiliate, which a lot cheaper but has everything you need to know about blogging and how to monetize your blog.

Along with some one on one coaching and amazing support, you can expect to spend less if $400 is not in your budget right now.

So How do You Become a Successful Blogger?

You put in the work like every other successful blogger has put in.

In the end it is going to require a lot of hard work and determination to make it as a blogger and if you don’t have that, then not a single program will work for you.

Too many people enter the blogging world thinking they are going to make money by doing 10 posts and then of course quit because they didn’t make any money.

Remain consistent, don’t quit, and I’m sure any program will work for you.

Conclusion

Is Elite Blog Academy worth the big price tag?

Unfortunately, it just is not possible to give a definitive answer to that question.

Let’s put it this way—many people have found the program to be worth it, while some have not.

If you already run a fairly successful blog, chances are this website isn’t going to make a measurable difference in your business.

However, if you are relatively new to world of blogging this site could potentially supply you with the information that you need to find much desired success.

Only you can decide if it is worth it.
