Sites like this can confuse a lot of people and that is why I put together this My Home Job Search review.
From the outside everything looks great but of course you can’t always judge a book by its cover.
If I was to see the site’s homepage alone, I would clearly think that this is a legitimate work from home job search site like Zip Recruiter but that’s just not the case here.
What My Home Job Search does is a little on the irritating side and I want to explain all of that here within this post.
So before you join, signup, or do anything on this site, allow me to give you the lowdown on how everything actually works before you fall for something that might not actually work.

My Home Job Search is a site that claims to find you a job by simply using their site that was supposedly created by some “Michael Anderson”.
There are many ways that you might have found out about this site and with their signup process, it can only lead you to think that it is ran by real people.
In most cases, you probably landed on Myhomejobsearch.com after doing some research on real work from home jobs or someone probably recommended this to you like others have encountered.
Upon your arrival, the whole “earn $14 – $56” deal along with some testimonials got you thinking that this is really what you were looking for.
Being that they didn’t ask for any money up-front, it of course prompted almost all of you to create a free account in hopes of landing your next place of employment here soon.
Whatever the case may be, the whole “home job” thing is nothing but a way to get you to believe that this is a legitimate job search site but there’s really more to it than you think.
Just like most online schemes, they all have a hidden agenda that will have you thinking you really have nothing to lose.
How it Works
My Home Job Search is really nothing more than an affiliate marketing type of site that has one goal and one goal only.
At least in the beginning.
They will try to get you to attain your email address so that they are able to do anything and everything in their power to make some money from you with different offers that you might be interested in.
But first, they will get some money from you no matter what as they will tell you to follow some simple steps and there is no money coming out of your pocket.
So remember how you had to start with your zip code?
That is really nothing more than a way to have you feel you are again doing something legit.
After that, you will then come across several questions and again, this is just for show and will all lead to their ultimate goal of making money from you.
So no matter what desired income you pick it will not matter.
And I’m sure we all will pick the $1500+ amount and that you can start as soon as today (lol).
After you take your exam, you will then land to the page where they will capture your email address.
Once you opt-in there, you will get hit with a video that does nothing but talk about how your life sucks without their product just like every other website does.
What does this get you?
Access to their Platinum Membership.
The Platinum Work From Home Jobs Membership
This is supposed to give you instant access to every top paying company on the web.
They also claim to make you money by doing simple tasks like reviewing products and testing gadgets.
Then they throw in the 60 day money back guarantee along with more marketing that makes you think there are only two spots left.
“Wanda just made $20”
I don’t even know how many times that showed up but it was enough to show me that no one was actually making that kind of money.
So Does My Home Job Search Actually Work?
I don’t know how you would define “works” but let me explain how the membership goes.
If you skip the little discount offer they try to trap you with (which I hope you did), it will lead you to the same membership area regardless.
You will then get to their member’s area which is bombarded with affiliate offers that consist of a lot of free offers that will end with the owners of My Home Job Search making a commission.
These sites are legit but can be found without this website.
Toluna and Survey Junkie are very much legitimate survey sites but they are only using these because they will make money just by having others join using their personal affiliate link.
Now isn’t this supposed to be a job search site?
This alone is already headed in the wrong direction so that’s already a red flag in my book.
More Red Flags
This alone is already misleading but let me just cover more on the overall site to show you why you can’t trust a single thing they say.
One, the owner is not really who he claims to be, but just a bogus name like every other scam site uses as well as the fake news nonsense.
Well I wouldn’t say it’s fake news but it just has nothing to do with this site at all as they are just clips from actual news but has nothing to do with My Home Job Search.
Again, this is the same practice that every other work from home job scam is using.
Next, these testimonials are not real.
Not only are they fake but these are nothing more of a stock photo taken from Bitstockphoto.com.
At this point, nothing in the site is actually legit and goes into the one question everyone seems to wonder.
Is My Home Job Search a Scam?
Absolutely!
Just because you can actually make some pocket change using the survey sites they have on their site does not make them legit.
As a matter of fact, that is not even a job which is what the site claims to have.
The overall site is built in a way that they will try to maximize their earnings from every member but at the end, its members will only make the same pennies they would make if they were to signup to those sites on their own.
Then you have the membership which gives you access to nothing and that alone is enough for me to call My Home Job Search a scam.
Everything is misleading and not a single member of this scam is making at least the money they started with.
Avoid this scam at all costs.
Conclusion
Get a real job.
There are job searching sites like Monster.com and one that I know you are very familiar with called Craig’s list.
There is also a site called Flexjobs that does have you pay, but they will actually find you REAL jobs and not some survey taking sites.
Other than that, please be smarter about this one and do not add to their pockets.
Now you can always do some affiliate marketing yourself as that is exactly how I make my living online and is not a job but rather a business.
