So you’re wondering if the Midas Legacy is a scam? You can’t blame anyone for thinking that, especially with the long video that had you wondering what it is really about, the whole way through.

Of course I was skeptical about this whole thing, which is one of the reasons that prompted this review in the first place.

The whole story about tapping into the “rich jerk’s” bank accounts deal was kind of too good to be true and made me feel as if I was doing something wrong.

Then they talk about a “Robin Hood code”? Things just got weird and then it led me to a buy now page, which almost didn’t make sense.

After further research and trial, I have put together this review, to give you more awareness on probably the most confusing product I have come across so far.

Now if you’re flat out tired of scams, you can always checkout my top recommended program so you can see what a legitimate program really looks like.

What is the Midas Legacy?

The video mentions that you will be placing this code and that is how you will make money. When someone tells you that all you have to do is copy and paste something to make money, do you really think anyone would completely ignore that?

Of course they’ll be skeptical, but as humans (and most especially as humans that are looking for a way to make money online), we will be more than curious and of course listen to what they have to say.

After being confused as to what this site was really about, I jumped the gun and went straight for buy now page, hoping to get more clarity on how you really make money with this.

The Price for Midas Legacy

Once again, more confusion. They mention getting lesson one at no cost, but I was under the impression that I was going to get my Robin Hood and Little John code and that was how I was going to make money.

For whatever I was going to get, I got 30 days for free and then was expecting to get $29.95 pulled the following month if I wanted to remain a member.

That would be no payment upfront, but you will then pay $29.95 the following month. That would be $27 for the product and $2.95 for shipping.

So having to spend $0 is almost a no brainer deal, besides worrying if you were going to have your bank account drained after you filled out your credit card information.

the-midas-legacy-circle-cost

So I got my 30 day trial and I was on my way to actually figuring out what this product was about. I think you will be surprised, just like I was.

The Product

Once I got in to the members area, I didn’t meet Robin Hood. Sorry to say. What I did encounter was some affiliate marketing training.

I was waiting for my code so that I can start making money from these “rich jerks”, but that wasn’t going to happen.

Sad face 🙁

From the intro, you get some marketing tips as well as Jim’s take on why most people fail at affiliate marketing, which I could actually agree with.

The training is based on PPC and keyword marketing, which is something I can agree with as well as that is one of the ways money is made online, legitimately.

He also mentions Clickbank, which is nothing more than a site with digital products from which you can make money by doing affiliate marketing.

So in a nutshell, Jim is going to teach you how to do affiliate marketing, which I believe, is the absolute best way for anyone to make money online, especially if you are just starting out.

The Pros & Cons

Just like any legitimate program out there, you will always have the good and bad that comes with whatever it is that you are going to get involved with.

Pros:

  • Can make you money
  • Uses a legitimate way to make money online (affiliate marketing)
  • No hidden agenda
  • No up-sells
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • Very misleading
  • Very confusing
  • No guarantees

I was kind of disappointed because it wasn’t what I expected it to be. There was just so much running around that I spent more time trying to figure out what I was going to learn.

What I Really Think

I’m just glad that this wasn’t a flat out scam. They weren’t upfront about a lot of things, so I can’t tell you this is going to be your key to financial success.

I am a big fan of affiliate marketing and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to make money online.

However, there is a lot more than training that is needed to make money and you are definitely going to need more than just that to make it online. See how this compares to my top recommendation for affiliate marketing and see what I recommend.

So is Midas Legacy a Scam?

Surprisingly, no. I didn’t like the whole Robin Hood nonsense that came with it, and the beating around the bush that it started with, but that was all I can really call shady with this.

I don’t like liars though, so this is definitely not going to be something I recommend. Take it for what it’s worth, but there are better programs that offer a whole lot more and don’t require lying.

This is not a scam, but I’m pretty sure you can make a smart decision with this one. I dig the affiliate marketing training, but not the marketing. This is a no-go in my book.

not-recommended

Final Thoughts

I’m really glad you did your research before jumping into something, especially with a “free trial”. Maybe this is more of a hype? You decide.

Well that’s it from me for now and thanks for reading my review of Midas Legacy. If you have any questions about this program or anything regarding making money online, please feel free to leave it in the comments section below.

I hope this has helped you understand something so confusing and hopefully you can make money online too. Cheers!

Hallo John, I have just bought into this’ Midas’ scheme and lucky for me, there was not enough funds in my account to pay for the rest of it. I am not good with this new way of making money online and therefore burned my fingers several times. I will as for a refund.

I wish to find something that can really work for me. I don’t no about setting up websites or sell products online. I am good in typing, are the something in this category that I can invest in?

If you are good in typing, you definitely want to go with the Wealthy Affiliate. You can checkout a full review here or you can just create a free WA account to see what they are all about. You will literally have a website setup in less than 30 seconds and no, you don’t have to do any actual selling Maggie as the way things are done there are not like your traditional business. I am one of those suckers that fell for the pitch. Got the Midas Legacy Letter and went for the $29.95/ 30 days free, then followed it with the $77.00/ 30 day refund. What a sucker I am. Thank fully my card would not take the next charge. When I came to my senses it was to late to call so will call in AM and see if I can get it all stopped. If they object will call my bank. You do not need to print this letter I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your review.

Hey John, Great review, Fellow Wealthy Affiliate member, They are the best! Agreed, I received TML’s letter in the mail too, Checked it out, And like you I’ve been scammed so many times It long since stopped being funny. Thought I should investigate a little bit. From what you say this might be alright for someone looking to learn affiliate marketing, but it;s not for me. I’ve done affiliate marketing through Click Bank, JV, & the like, But I have learned more through Wealthy Affiliate than anywhere else. Thank’s for the review, Have a great one!

The big problem with your scam is that you are trying to disguise yourself as someone who is actually trying to help. But in reality all you are doing is using self-interest to try and sell something! Both you and Jim Samson and a millions of others are just big time scammers.

The programs I promote “J” are what I know works. And let me just tell you that I have been apart of many scams in my life but I use it as a lesson and a way to inform others about them. If you don’t believe what I have to say then that is completely fine too. I do my best to provide the right information so people don’t get scammed and of course not everyone will believe me as that’s just how it is. Now is there something I can actually help you with? I don’t charge either, so just let me know what you’re trying to do and I will help you FOOR FREE.

Thank you very much for this review. I picked up my mail today and I had gotten a letter about this TML and I had to check it out. I like money as much as the next person but I find that when it is said to be “handed out” or really easy to get, it’s worth a look but not a dive. If it isn’t hard earned then it probably isn’t real or legal. Again thank you for this, just means another paper to shred. have a wonderful day.

Hey John Bummer I really thought Midas was something they sent me a book binder and it all just sounded really good. They have not taken money from me so i guess i will cancel. But there are a few others that perhaps you already reviewed but how about AWOL another way of life, ASPIRE, Mile high publications. What about IOS they help people to have a drop shipping on line store. they are giving me a web site and help to set things up and teach for 49 a month? Is drop shipping OK? thanks for all you do I guess i am going to get into wealth affiliate the thing is I really am not the best at watching a million videos and learning what to do? Frustarared cause I know the internet and the computer is taking over and I better learn it!!! Help

Sorry bout that Mitch. Aspire is okay but it just requires you to purchase their high ticket products before you can sell them to make that money. Personally, I would go with My Lead System Pro if you were going to use a high ticket program because they are the most affordable and offer the same type of training and support. Drop shipping is also great but you’re going to need a bigger budget to make that work. If you don’t want to deal with that many videos and want to make the most out of your investment, MLSP is what you need to go with. click here to see a full review on their program and you’ll see what they have to offer.

Just as a heads up. I no longer buy ANYTHING that goes through CLICKBANK. Two times in the past I did and BOTH times my credit card was hit by Balkan boiler room schemes, one time for airline tickets and the other time they were purchasing train tickets all over Europe for thousands of dollars (I’m in the U.S. and do not travel). Luckily for me I use Capitol One and they called me both times, cancelled my cc and sent me a new one.

We both (Capitol One security and I) agreed it was CLICKBANK that was insecure. Why? I’m fairly predictable in what I do with that card. It’s for mobile phone accounts and purchasing at new vendors I don’t trust. Guess what was the ONLY anomaly in the equation? CLICKBANK

Therefore I NEVER trust anyone who *has* to use CLICKBANK. Perhaps when the affiliate thing fails they’re willing to make money “any old way” even the criminal kind? Couldn’t say for sure but…

    Be safe out there people.

    Hi John,

Your review is so helpful. Thanks a lot for posting it. However, this is what I received from them.

    Hello _____,

If you’re reading this, it’s because you’re on the shortlist of Midas Legacy members who’ve been nominated to receive a no-catch grant of $2+,+++.++…

    Congratulations on this great honor!

As you may know, we’re constantly giving back to good causes, such as St. Jude’s hospital, the local Give Hope charity, the sheriff’s office, or a number of other fantastic causes…

…and now it’s YOUR turn to receive our kindness, which comes in the form of a $2+,+++.++ grant!

Here’s the catch: I’d love to give this grant to every single deserving member of The Midas Legacy, but my accountant has made it very clear that the absolute maximum number I can give out is 47 right now.

So, I’ve set up a small window of time (this weekend only) for you to claim your grant.

    Claim your grant here!

If you do so before this expires, it’s all yours! If not, I’ll have to offer your grant to someone else…

Now, I understand that you may have some question about this. To answer them, I’ve set up a special presentation to show you everything about this grant and how to claim yours.

Simply click here for instant access.

    Sincerely,
    ________ … The Midas Legacy

How trustworthy is this? I hope this would also help other readers.

I am kind of caught up in all this scamming [SCAT] about the Midas Legacy. and am interested:

I have a Letter from them delivered by [ US MAIL ] Now I am not sure how much money they
have taken from my account. My phone quit working so i cannot get into it; However I d believe
two amounts, that 29.95 an a second of about 289. I am not sure only saw the page for an instant.

I am without funds today; thanks to scammers. And no one could do any thing about the e-mail
scame… However this time I have communication from them. I wrote a BOOK, sent them a few pieces; just thought they liked it and they were sending me an award. [I have not yet received]

However: [the connection via US MAIL] Is that not enough to file a heavy complaint against.

Sad to use something of the Lord to use money; giving it free to “give back” and then charging you $29.95 a month to know how to use it…..

OMG! Thank u sooo much for ur honesty about the Midas Legacy! They have been sending me a lot of programs that I really wanted to try. The lates is the Midas Alert which cost $997 which is a discount from the regular price of $1997.00! My son came down with a very serious mental illness and I cannot get any help for him like Medicaid, disability or anything. I had to go back to work full time as a nurses assistant, which is very hard for me at age 66. I get sooo tired at times that I just cry! I have to pay for a facility, buy food, pay his car payment and insurance etc. plus my bills. I have been doing this now for over a year and I just can’t do it anymore. I signed up with the Wealthy Affiliate 2 weeks ago but have no time to go through the program yet because I’m always working to provide for him. He is 24 years old. My social security check can only cover my rent and utilities so I used to work only part time to take care of myself, now I’m working over 100+ hours per week which is heavily taxed, just to be able to provide food, shelter and other bills for my son. I thought the easiness of the program the Midas Alerts described would work for me and planned to call them to ask if I could make 2 or 3 payments as I could come up with $997 at once. How blessed I am to check the reviews first! Thank u sooo much, I would have been in a worse situation!!! I’m going to make every effort to read through the Wealthy Affiliate.

I am 79 years old and I thought it was a 30 day trial and pay just $29.95 per month. I even made a copy of that page. Said not to the other two offers. They did ask for my credit card information. The next day I
had two charges on my bank. One for $297 and and another one for $77. So now I can’t pay my bills. And their email and phone available. That does not sound like a legitimate company to me. I am sick.

    Hi John and john subscribers,
I happened across this website a few minutes ago while searching through review sites for info, and I would like to say I think this is probably one of the best review sites I’ve come across (and I visit a lot of them, believe me). I believe you are honest and do at least the minimum research/detective work it takes to write a fairly competent review on opportunities available to anyone looking for ways to make money online.
However, one would have to admit how difficult it is to be totally unbiased considering the reviewer’s main objective for the review even before writing the first word is to pitch, sale, market his/her product, system, or service to the reader of the review. Isn’t it? Which leads me to believe the reviewer starts with the hope that whatever product, system or service he is reviewing actually IS a scam thereby making the review easier to write, as well as his/her product or service easier to pitch.
With that said, I will cut to the chase here and shorten this by saying I have used several products and/or services from the Midas Legacy and have found them to be informative, useful, and (most of all) profitable. How much so is , as always, dependent on how much work one is willing to put in to it, as well as how much money one has to start with.
Finally, as far as your impression that you were “lied to”, I think we should be a little tolerant considering it is not just common practice to “Hype-Up” advertising by constantly coming up with ways to grab and hold the potential customer’s attention during the “pitch” or run the risk of losing them forever to some one who really WILL outright lie to them. All the largest and most famous brands one can think of do it all day long.
Anyway, that’s my 2 cents (more like 4 cents as long as this is… sorry!).
And I DO like your review site here. I’m going to subscribe and make it one of only 4 that I subscribe to. The rest I’ve visited, so far, aren’t worth it.

Thanks for the comment Neal and most especially for your honesty. I definitely don’t review a product hoping it IS a scam but rather the complete opposite as there are way more than enough scams to last us many lifetimes.

I also DO NOT start my review with the intention of promoting just one product as my goal is to give my readers THE BEST way to do things online. The thing that most people don’t understand is the fact that I can promote absolutely anything (even scams) and make money regardless of what decision they make, but then I would just be lying, right?

I am always unbiased and I want to see great products being created, but that’s almost impossible to find these days. It’s either you need to recruit to make money or the product is nothing but a way to make the owners of these products money and I can’t stand them, lol.

The products I do promote are not mine, but they are truly that amazing. I don’t promote any recruiting based type of programs and I only promote things that actually work and I’m sure you know there aren’t many.

So rather than telling people that this is the best thing out there (with the chance to make money by promoting it), I give them THE BEST alternative to something they are trying to do in the first place. I mean, I think we all want the best.

I do affiliate marketing and that is what is taught here, but it definitely lacks in certain categories which is why I gave it the rating I did. It’s either I tell them that this is “the one” that’s going to work or I show them something better.

I run a couple of other sites and it is all making me money without recruiting and that is something that I learned at Wealthy Affiliate (my #1 recommendation). It’s really hard not to sound biased because they really do have everything you need to succeed in the online world and I am really amazed at what they have to offer. It’s not my product, but it is really that good.

In the end, I will always give my honest opinion and my 4 cents to any product I review as I am here to help anyone and everyone who is struggling to make money online. Make sense Neal?

Thanks for your kind words man and I hope you are making a solid living online as well as I know you are a caring person that is only looking out for others as well.

      Cheers!

There is no comparison between Wealthy Affiliate and ANY take survey site Robert. Taking surveys is a penny paying job that will pay you pennies and as the days go by, the pay becomes lower and lower. Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to run a business and the fee is a membership fee that comes with training, support, and everything you could possibly need for a website.

What’s wrong with paying a fee? I make 100X more than that fee and I paid $299 for a year, which hosts the many sites I operate, which gets me support, hosting, and other stuff that is very much needed to run an online business.

Take survey sites = Get paid to do little tasks
Affiliate Marketing (what Wealthy Affiliate teaches) = Make money selling other people’s products

          Get the difference?

And they are scamming the elderly and people who are desperate to make ends meet! They are essentially no better than the “big fat cat corporations” that they talk about in their advertising. And to the public, Always check with the BBB before forking over your money or taking anyone up on their “free” offers. There is nothing that anyone will mail you that is free, I assure you. Thanks for serving D. I too am a veteran but from recent times and it’s great to see other vets doing the whole online thing. If you want to know the most legit way to make money online, I recommend a program called the Wealthy Affiliate. It is what I use to make my money online and their business model is just amazing. I’m sure you’ll like what they have to offer. Click here to learn more about that company and I can also help you there if need be. Cheers!

I too joined Wealthy Affiliate and I absolutely love it. A greater bunch of people, you will not find anywhere else! The reason I was checking this out is because Jim is in cahoots with MIKE DEE aka MIKE DOUGHERTY. He is one of the biggest liars on the internet. He will make wild guarantees and you will never get anything he promises. Please if anyone gets anything from him consider it as dangerous as a virus. He is the worst.

the midas legacy “bank raider” IS a con, as all he has done is copy a scam currently running in britain. i found this out when i found a site run by britains answer to australia`s paul clitheroe.the scam over there is run by a guy who was busted by the authorities in 2010 for a health fraud!

Yep, Midas Legacy is very professional scammer, but a scammer no less… Have never made a dime following his lead. Now he’s getting worse as he promotes to his the list the Ultimate scammer, “Rich Janitor”… Best advice, stay clear of his nonsense…

    Thanks John,
You have saved me from two “online businesses” that seemed to good to be true! It seems that when you pull the curtains back the wizard is the same in all of these……

I thought I might had found someone telling the truth…. Other than a few of us, I don’t think there is anyone!

    Thanks and God Bless

It’s really hard to find John (nice name btw), but they do exist. The minute I get on a program, I can already tell what they are about and you are right, they are all pretty much the same. So if you find one that TEACHES you rather than trying to market some hype, you might just be on a solid program. Thanks for the comment man!

Finding a legitimate way to make money online is definitely not an easy task. Just like you I have been looking and looking just to come up empty handed. After throwing a couple thousand dollars into many scams, I finally came across a program called the Wealthy Affiliate. Ever since then, I no longer have to look for ways to make money from home. I can also say that I now work from home full-time and my kids get to have me whenever they want. I know you can do the same man so give it a try.
