I recently came across a comment on one of my other posts from someone trying to tell another person that affiliate marketing is not for everyone. I beg to differ.
If you guys even knew anything about me and my past, you will know that I am nothing even close to being computer literate and I actually graduated a year late from high school. Don’t judge me.
The point here is not to tell you how much I don’t know about anything, but to show you how affiliate marketing worked for me and how it can work for absolutely anyone.
The Easy Way Out – It Doesn’t Exist
When I came across affiliate marketing, I didn’t jump in and start working. Just like almost everyone else out there that is trying to make money online, I tried to find the easy way out.
Fell for a couple of get rich schemes, Tried my luck at a couple of MLMs, and threw my dough at some revenue sharing programs
For some of you, you probably still think that you can make money doing nothing and for the rest, you know that you need to put in some work.
Do You Even Know How to do Affiliate Marketing?
For the most part, you probably know that affiliate marketing is pretty much taking other people’s products and selling them to make a commission. Right?
You get your unique link and start trying to get people to buy through them, right? Although a very simple concept, there is a lot more to it than just flinging your affiliate links around the web.
There is a lot more to making money with affiliate marketing and if you don’t get the right training and or coaching, you can consider yourself another statistic.
The Right Training
Everyone that tries to get involved with affiliate marketing thinks they can do this business simply by watching a couple of Youtube videos.
There is a lot (and I mean a lot) that needs to be learned before you even make that first dollar. Like I said earlier, I am not the very best at using computers, so of course I wouldn’t understand a thing trying to do it on my own.
I got my start with a program called the Wealthy Affiliate. I’m still kicking myself on the butt for not applying what was taught here YEARS ago.
I spent way too much time trying to make quick cash, but that was never going to happen. I quit chasing those scams and if you are still doing that, I think it’s time for you to stop to.
Every Unsuccessful Affiliate Marketer Quits
I can tell you that there is a high rate of failed affiliate marketers and that is because of one reason and one reason only. They quit!
Believe it or not, most people quit right before they are about to see any type of success. Please don’t become another statistic.
They spend over 6 months trying to build out their affiliate sites and then bam. They quit. If they only had someone to guide them and show them exactly how it’s done, they wouldn’t have quit.
The worst part about all this is the fact that they wasted so much time and all the work that was put into that site has gone to waste.
If they had reached out to someone that is actually making money with affiliate marketing, they would’ve been told exactly what to do.
Patience is a Virtue
I know, I know, how cliche John. Well, it’s the truth. If you don’t have the patience to build an online business then you really shouldn’t be doing any type of business.
I used to own a bar and it didn’t take 1 year before I got into profit. Come to think about it, I was never in profit!
With my online business, I invested way less and made my initial investment back in less than 6 months.
That little time to make a full-time income online? Tell me that is a lot of time? The best part about all this, is that it only makes me more money!
You see guys, the online world is where it’s at. I invested less than $100/month and now I not only made that back, but I make a lot more than that a month.
Do You Really Want to Make Money as an Affiliate Marketer?
Alright guys, I usually don’t do this, but I’m willing to give you (yes you) a hand with things so that you too can finally not only make money online, but to build a business that will continue to pay you they way a business should.
Being that I am still an active member at the Wealthy Affiliate and they have the best community of online marketers out there, I want to offer my help.
You have to promise me one thing though. Promise me that you will NOT QUIT. If you aren’t making money or asking any questions, you are well on your way to becoming another statistic.
If you have failed before, but do know a thing or two about affiliate marketing, I want you to forget what you knew about this and let me show you how it’s done.
If I can’t help you create a successful affiliate marketing business, then you can prove me wrong. Other than that, you will be crazy to let this opportunity pass you by.
