How to Use Hootsuite and Aweber to Automate Your Blog Posts

Blogging is a necessity if we want to develop our website and business. Blogs are also a modern media of advertising and if you are not using it to your advantage, your competition is definitely beating you.

By blogging you can produce a lot of back-links for your website to promote your business. Also you can increase your ranking for your website to appear more on search engines by doing this.

Now submitting your blog into lots of sites can be really tough, and very time consuming. This is where Hootsuite and Aweber come in at, by using these services we can automate our blog submissions.

So it is the easiest way to submit our blog into as many directories as we want. Now lets learn about how to use Hootsuite and Aweber for automatically submitting our blog.

How to Use Hootsuite

Hopefully, if you are reading this you know that Hootsuite is a social media management system which we can use to promote our business by automatically submitting our blog in the various directories.

It is very popular among the new generation and already has been used by 10 million people in more than 170 countries.

People think that Hootsuite is just more than an auto-poster to social networking sites.

It actually does more than just sharing the content you want to share among the social networking site. You can also control certain task such as; scheduling updates, monitoring social analytic’s and so much more, it will blow your mind!

Let’s learn a little more about how we can use Hootsuite,

First, I will ask you a question? If you are using twitter as a marketing tool, what directs your followers to your business blog?

Do you make multiple postings already on your own to pull them in and do you run marketing campaigns to attract them to your page?

Whatever it may be Hootsuite can help in this department. Hootsuite lets you alert your followers automatically when you update your blog.

Who wouldn’t love this? This is a real time saver for businesses! Automating your blog post in Hootsuite simply means that when you post a new blog to your site it will automatically post the same blog to the different social media accounts you have set up in your back office.

How do I do this you may ask…

First, go to your Hootsuite dashboard.

  • Click the owls head in the upper-left corner of your screen.
  • Then a drop-down box will appear.
  • Click on the settings.
  • Next click on the RSS/Atom button.
  • After clicking this button an “Add New Feed” option button will appear at the bottom of the box.
  • Just click the new feed button.
  • Copy and paste your feed URL to the specified box.
  • Chose the account you wanted to share the post with (you can share multiple accounts).
  • Click save feed.

That is all there is to that aspect of Hootsuite, easy right!

Using  Aweber

Aweber has been used widely for various kinds of work. It can send automatic follow up emails from your created list and also can automatically submit blog postings.

If you want to get, more traffic then you have to send your blog to as many subscribers as you can. Blogs are one of the fastest growing means of publishing content to a website, in case you didn’t know that.

But day by day it becomes tougher and even more competitive and in the competitive world you have to use some kinds of strategy and tactics for spreading your writing to  businesses and websites.

Using Aweber is a great strategy. I not only use this tool to get more email subscribers, but I use Aweber for much more than just a simple opt-in form.

Without this my work gets harder for me to complete as I already have many, many things to do. Sending out email is something you want to spend less time on and that is exactly what Aweber is for.

Let’s learn about how we can use Aweber for automated blog submission. To get started with the setup you need to have your blog RSS feed. If you have not already created an RSS Feed, then you have to create that firstly. Once you have completed your RSS setup then log in to your Aweber dash-board and just…

Follow the steps below…

  1. Inside your dashboard just click on the message and then click on broadcast.
  2. On the next page click on create a blog broadcast.
  3. Add the feed URL at the top and customize the subjects you wanted to add of your RSS Feed. Then on the right side there is some option from where you can pick any templates you want and load it to your blogs. You can design the blog at your own will.
  4. Now let’s set up a schedule of how, when and where Aweber should send out updates to your subscriber.

These are very important points to note when you send any automated blog to any of your subscriber then just think about when they will click and open the Content you send.

The overall process will just take 5 minutes and 5 minutes more if you want to design the templates. If you publish many kinds of filters, then please create a separate RSS Feed for the blog.

Keep in mind that blog broadcasting is very sensitive. If you make any sudden changes to the text of the body of the message then various kinds of changes will be automatic.

The key to “mastering” Aweber or any aspect of online marketing, you need nothing more than this thing I like to call practice.

For the most part, things can be confusing and you might not want to deal with it, but once you have things rolling smoothly, I think you’ll love what Aweber can do for you and your business.
