There are different ways that money is generated from the internet, but you will need to figure out what it is that you would like to learn. Of course you might have a general idea, but there will always be those naysayers.
Along with those negative folks, come the scammers. This is almost impossible to dodge when you start our online, because people pay some good money, just to get their scam products seen. Thank god you ended up on my blog and not some company that is just trying to suck the life out of your credit card.
Getting started online is always the hard part, especially if you already have a lot going on for you. If you can put aside 2 hours a day, then you actually can create a very successful business online.
So How Do People Make Money Online?
People make money online in many different ways, and I would like to share with you the same exact programs that have made me money online. They all have their ways and their methods, but there is a specific way that things are done.
Affiliate marketing is the same exact way that online millionaires are made and it is not going to change. Although, some of the gurus have turned their skills into a scam to make more money, I would advise you to please do your research before you jump into any of these network marketing businesses that claim to be affiliate marketing.
All affiliate marketing is, is when you take other people’s products and you sell them via a website or through an email, while gaining a commission in the process. It doesn’t get any better than that my friend, unless of course you are the owner of that product.
Blogging
This is probably the backbone to all forms of online marketing, but it is not the only way that money is made online. If you can incorporate affiliate marketing into your blog, there is just an endless amount of money to be made and give you the opportunity to do something you enjoy, while making money.
Personally, I love to blog and I love how you can make money by suggesting products to your online readers while making a commission in the end. It is totally legal, and is very, very profitable.
I own a couple of blogs (this included), that all make me money, just from people reading my stuff and taking some kind of action. Often times, I make money with just a simple click. Imagine owning your own baking blog or something you are passionate about? It’s crazy man, seriously. Oh, and it’s fun too.
I really love blogging, because once you get started with the whole process and learn the ins and outs of the whole concept, the traffic to your website is going to be free and you will also have the option to advertise as well. Talk about win/win situation. The next one is not as fun, but it is just as profitable, if not more.
Email Marketing
This form of making money online is probably the easiest to get started, but will probably cost you a little more. Let me break down email marketing for you so that you can have a better understanding of this whole “the money is in the list” thing.
First of all, I have to say that email marketing is a very simple concept, but most people don’t apply it because they don’t have a full understanding of the whole process. I recommend the Chris Farrell Membership, if you want to have a baby step approach to email marketing.
Alright, now how is this all done? First, you are going to need your own website and if you do try out CFM, you don’t need to get the site that he tells you to purchase, because there are free websites out there that you can use to get started.
Once you have your site in place, you are going to have to create some squeeze pages, so that you can capture people’s email addresses so that you can market to them. I hate using the term marketing, because all you are doing is recommending things that you would actually recommend (or not) and make money doing so.
The whole business is not easy, so why not get paid in the process, right? The way you would capture email addresses would be to let someone fill out a form and it would like the form to the right.
Sell Your Own Stuff
Owning a product is not that easy for a lot of us to use, but if you do own one, this will be the most profitable one of them all. There are places like Clickbank, that will allow you to create your own digital product, and sell it or let other affiliates sell it for you. Can you imagine.
I am actually in the process of creating my own online marketing program, which I’m pretty excited about and I would love to share it with you, but I’m not quite finished with it. In the mean time, you can use the ones I highly recommend, because these ones definitely work.
