Tomboy Tools Overview – Boys Will Be Boys And Girls Will Be…Boys?
So I have been asked to do a review on Tomboy Tools, which involves a bunch of girls and their tools (don’t take it the wrong way ladies), which is actually a very interesting and unique approach to the work from home industry.
Well, there’s actually more to this business than just buying pink tools and I would like to show you more on their business model as well as their compensation plan.
What in the World is Tomboy Tools?
Tomboy Tools is a multi-level marketing company, just like Amway or any other business which most people would consider some type of pyramid scheme.
Personally, I don’t care for MLM’s but I do believe that doing something is better than nothing and a good ole MLM business is next to affiliate marketing, which to me is the BEST work from home opportunity out there for anyone trying to work from home.
Recently, the company decided to do a couple of changes which consists of more tools, a different marketing approach, as well as a new name.
Tomboy Tools will now be going under the name “Project Home”, but they will be keeping the name “Tomboy Tools” for their line of tools and here is how their new logo looks.
Wuddya think?
Ehhhh….
Who is Tomboy Tools for?
Tomboy tools is for anyone trying to start a work from home opportunity and actually learn some DIY projects around the house (or is it?).
It is not for people or girls looking for “pink tools” to look all pretty and cute while doing some project around the house, even though that’s what they make out to be.
If you really want pink tools that much, go to the good ole Home Depot or get it online at Amazon.com and I can assure you that you will find pink tools for less than half the price of the tools offered at Tomboy Tools.
Like I said though, this is for people (women) looking for a work from home type of business and probably an alternative to Avon or some other MLM.
Tomboy Tools Training & “Tools”
Although they are mostly known for their tools, there is also an “education” involved with this company.
They will teach you how to do some projects around the house and what not, which I think is a MUST, because what else would you use these tools for?
I’m pretty sure that almost every single household has a very basic set of tools, so getting these pink tools will be an excuse to join Tomboy Tools.
Dad can’t be the only DIY “person” around the house, mom can do it herself too (sure).
There’s no secret that the tools are pink, but there is quite a difference between these overpriced tools and your regular tools.
These tools are actually a little smaller and can fit a woman’s hand a lot easier.
What do you think of that idea?
Pretty crafty?
Tomboy Tools Business & Comp Plan
This is the most important part of the whole company and this is what most people (women) are interested in.
Just like any other multi-level marketing company you’ve come across, Tomboy Tools has their very own compensation plan.
These little comp plans, like their referred to, is what will get anyone’s attention, most especially women.
Give women tools and a business, who needs men?
Here is the if I get 3 and you get 3 then she gets 3 comp plan for Tomboy Tools.
I like to refer to MLM’s as an “IF” program.
As a representative, you can also get a whopping 30% commission on all tools that you sell. That is pretty decent, but why would you ONLY want to promote pink tools when you can promote more than just that?
If you’re not involved with the comp plan, then I highly suggest you don’t promote Tomboy Tools.
If you want to make more money selling other people’s things (not just pink hammers), see the same exact work from home business that I recommend to anyone trying to start a work from home business.

How much does it Cost?
Before you can profit from any of this goodness, there’s always a cost and don’t think that I’m going to sit here and tell you that a screwdriver costs $5 and a wrench is $6, because that’s insane.
I will be discussing how much the business kits will cost you and what you can expect with each of these kits.
In case you didn’t know what the price for a typical MLM business looks like, just know that they’re not going to be cheap.

Sooo, Is Tomboy Tools Worth it?
Like I mentioned earlier, I am not a big fan of the MLM business, BUT I do think it is better than most jobs out there. I mean, you are your own boss, but that doesn’t make up for the hard work and recruiting it takes to operate a successful multi-level marketing business.
If you have some people in mind, then this might be a good business for you to start with, but if you’re not into the whole recruiting thing, then I suggest you stay away from something like this or any MLM for that matter. As for the tools, please don’t spend on overpriced pink tools, it is NOT worth it.
I hope you found this review of Tomboy Tools to be some sort of help to your search for a legit work from home opportunity and I know that you too will find success online. Please Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts on this company and most especially if I left anything out. Cheers!
