Affiliate marketing is one of the few legitimate ways to make money online and that is exactly what Affilorama teaches.
I have put together this Affilorama review to answer any questions you may have before joining this program and I hope it does exactly that.
Will this be “the one” or is it just another online scam?
So many questions with a bunch of skepticism and that’s completely normal.
You won’t find many negative reviews about Affilorama, but there are always the good and bad that come with any make money online business so don’t worry about a thing.
I have reviewed over a hundred of these programs and this is actually one you might want to consider and I would like to explain why in this review.
Whether you think Affilorama is a scam or not, I’m sure you’ll find this post to be helpful, so please do pay attention as there is a lot of valuable information here.
Now let’s get right into things.
What Exactly is Affilorama?
Affilorama is an online marketing course that teaches affiliate marketing.
Created by Mark Ling, this is one program that has been around for quite some time and doesn’t look like it will be going anywhere either.
It comes with different courses on what you need to create a successful online marketing campaign, which involves creating a website, picking a niche, and monetizing that website.
Not many people really understand what this is all about, but Affilorama will start you off on the right track by showing you how everything is done online.
This is not a network marketing business and it will not make you rich overnight, but it does require you to work and it will not make you money overnight either.
Who This is For
This program is perfect for the beginner marketer or anyone that has failed with online marketing.
This product will help a complete newbie to an advanced affiliate marketer that isn’t doing too good with their failing affiliate marketing campaign.
This is not for someone looking to get rich overnight or isn’t willing to put any work, so if you are looking for a way out of the 9-5 world then this might just be the solution.
Affiliate marketing is just like any other job and you will need to put in the work that is necessary to make money, so please don’t think you’re going to make money just from signing up.
Is There Quality Tools and Training?
There is definitely quality tools and training with Affilorama and Mark Link knows exactly what he’s doing. The training is right up there with the Wealthy Affiliate, but personally, I think Affilorama’s training keeps you more interested.
You can signup to Affilorama for free, but you can also get total access for $1.
The “Affilotools” product is something I like. It gets all of your website dates in one place and allows you to see what is going on with your website, from sales, to traffic.
Pretty cool tool, and this actually comes with your premium membership.
Support
There is some pretty good support, which is something you will need if you want to make it in the online world. You can’t do this on your own so don’t try to be “Mr. know it all” in this type of business or you will fail faster then when you got started.
Upon my free trial with them a live chat popped up at the bottom right of the screen and it allowed you to have some of your basic questions answered.
Pretty impressive huh?
Not a lot of online marketing courses offer this type of support and this is something that will benefit you as an online marketer.
Their support page will let you get help from their support desk, but you can use the live chat feature that is offered within the members area, which works great.
The support here may seem automated but is a lot better than most Clickbank products that give you the run around.
If this doesn’t satisfy you, there is a member’s forum that you can gain access too, which is probably one of their most powerful features.
The Cost to Join Affilorama
You can actually sign up for a basic Affilorama account and get a basic understanding of what it is all about. They will give you a 30 day $1 trial before you start paying the monthly membership price of $67.
Here is the difference between the basic and premium memberships.

- $1 Trial – 100+ Free lessons, member’s forum and free member’s tools
There are several other products that you can purchase, besides the $67 monthly membership and I’m usually not pro up-sells when it comes to make money from home programs, but they are actually really valuable and will help you take your business to another level.
You know what, let me just break them down for you here in this review as I’m sure you’ll actually like what they have to offer.
Why Affilorama’s UP-sells Are Different
Like I mentioned above that I am not the biggest fan of up-sells but what their AffiloJetpack has to offer is actually really, really good.
As a newbie to the online world sometimes creating websites can be a task in itself and for some of you, time might be of the essence.
Their done for you websites with the AffiloJetpack eliminate the headache that comes with learning how to build a site all on your own.
Then there’s hosting, which is actually one of the more common hidden fees when it comes to affiliate marketing but is absolutely necessary to get any website started.
Creating website content is not the easiest thing and even if a lot of you want to make money, creating your own content might be the deal breaker from making money or flat out quitting.
AffiloJetpack has this added feature and is huge for those of you non-techy peeps.
How about some email swipes for those of you who are thinking of running an email marketing campaign?
Again, they have this ready to go.
When I first decided to build my email list, it took me hours upon hours just to come up with my first email to send to my list and even at that, I scratched the whole thing and gave up on it completely.
These templates are tested and they will convert and I’m sure most of you don’t want to go through what I did.

Pros & Cons of Affilorama
Affilorama teaches one of the best business models out there (affiliate marketing) and the training is on point, easy to follow, and won’t have you falling asleep like most programs do.
With a member’s portal, you can create your own profile and interact with other members of the community which is very helpful in any business and Affilorama’s is just as good as any others out there.
There’s nothing better than having a free trial and that’s what you get with Affilorama.
The Down-side
If there is one thing that makes my rating a lot lower than it should, it would have to be the fact that it’s from the Clickbank marketplace.
From my experience as well as many online marketers, Clickbank products consist of 90% of the online scams that I have come across.
Clickbank itself is not a scam, but the merchants are taking advantage of the product creation section that they offer and create some kind of make money online scam, giving them a bad name.
Clickbank has a ton of great products but as for online marketing affiliate training, most merchants only have one thing in mind and that is to make as much money as they can by having affiliates promote their products.
This is when up-sells become a problem.
Affilorama on the other hand is not like the majority and as a matter of fact, this is probably the best Clickbank product that I have come across, so far and that says a lot about this company.

Affilorama is Not a Scam
This is definitely not a scam and is one of the few programs I actually recommend to anyone trying to start a solid work from home business.
Affilorama is totally legit and will show you how to make money online, if you actually stick to the training and apply what they teach.
Hands down, one of the best programs out there that will not take your money.
I mean, how can they when they also offer a 100% money back guarantee, right?
Just sayin.
Conclusion
If you are looking to make some money on the internet with affiliate marketing then this is one that I know will do exactly that.
I recommend (at the very least), signup for a free trial, and see if it’s something you see yourself doing as you really have nothing to lose
If you don’t like what you see, simply cancel your membership and move on.
And yes, it’s really that simple.

I came across Affilorama and signed up for their free membership.
The video tutorials are great and I’ve learnt a lot from them.
However, what prevented me from signing up for their full membership is the lack of support; there doesn’t seem to be much activity on the support portal. My concern would be if I had questions, they’d be no one to answer.
I agree with you that it is a legitimate program but what is lacking is the support. Maybe they will address this in the future, then I might join as a full member.
Yo John, good review on Affilorama. I’m considering joining. That’s crazy about Click-bank’s reputation being spoiled in the past. From what i have gathered, a lot of people have exploited their market causing a permanent dent in it’s face value. But as of 2017, it’s running strong. Say do you know if Affilorama has 24/7 online support?

I think it is an excellent option for when we have tried everything to earn money with affiliate marketing, and it has not worked.

That was a great review. I am currently working on my lessons in WA ( I only get to do it a couple hours in the evening a few nights a wee) it is slow going because of my day job but I am going to bookmark this program for after I have learned all I can learn from WA.

They update it once in a 6 months or a year. May be I’m wrong in this information but they mainly emphasize on SEO that’s all Which includes all the major elements like, keywords, contents e.t.c. You can actually find almost anything if you searched for it Ankit but something like affiliate marketing requires more than just information. Help, support, and a step by step guide is a must if you want to succeed with it. Search for things piece by piece and you’ll end up quitting.

I’m an improved quadriplegic with an active mind (thank the Lord!) and a desire to get out from under my closely controlled and monitored SSI and employer monthly payments. I currently live in an extended healthcare facility working toward recovery, which I WILL accomplish. With your budget Kevin, WA is definitely a better fit for you as it is cheaper. However, it is going to cost you $49/month, so will you be able to afford that? Other than survey sites like Survey Rewardz that don’t pay much, I am still trying to find a better alternative for those who don’t have much money to invest, so trust me, I’m still looking. In the meantime though, those are the only few, affordable and legit programs out there so see what you can do for now. Don’t forget that you can also get a free membership with WA, so you can even just use that for now, just to get a feel of the site. Create a free WA account here and just have a look around.
Thank you for this detailed review of Affilorama. I am actually on free membership and was considering purchasing Affilojetpack because it’s a “done all” for you. For a non-techie like me, I’d say website building, SEO, email marketing and all that do not only look and sound complicated but is near to impossible to do.
But no matter how great it seemed, I honestly think that it’s too costly especially if you’re just starting out. I also have an issue with up-sells which is one of the reasons why I did not go premium nor purchased Affilojetpack. I also read a review about Affilojetpack saying it’s kind’a outdated.
I’ve learned quite a lot on free membership and I know Affilorama is legit. By the way, I think Mark Ling is brilliant but somehow, when he started partnering with some other online marketers and owners who are really big on up-sells, it kind’a smeared his reputation a bit. What do you think?
Yeah I think it actually took him away from his own product and he has focused on other things. I hope he puts more attention into this and updates EVERYTHING. Although it’s legit, he can definitely make a lot of changes for the better.

I know that there are quite a few different types of affiliate marketing training programs. I thought the info you have here is great, but how does this training program differ from other affiliate marketing courses or training platforms, perhaps, say, like Wealthy Affiliate? Do you have any other suggestions for more affiliate marketing training courses? This was a helpful read to understand more about Affilorama. In what ways would you say that Affilorama is more engaging than Wealthy Affiliate, like you mentioned in your article?
As far as engaging, they are pretty much the same it’s just not super long like some of the vids on WA are. In the end, they are both great but it is really dependent on what YOUR needs are. Do you want some of the “done for you” type stuff that Affilorama has or are you willing to do it all on your own? That’s the big difference between the two. Either way, they are both legit and both will make you money.
I am currently a member of Affilorama and your post got my attention. Although I’ve been with them for years now, I only stayed at the free membership level, it surprised me to learn through your review here that there’s a $67 per month premium membership. But thanks to that, you’re helping people learn upfront what’s inside Affilorama.
Reading through your review, I saw the comparison table again and took notice of the price to get the recommended Affilojetpack. While the list of benefits is impressive, I honestly can’t afford it right now, but maybe in the near future. At first, it might look expensive but as you examine the offer, it includes 12 months hosting, shared hosting with their servers. Am I right?
For those who have the money, I can say this is not a scam and worth a try. The lessons Mark Ling has assembled make sense, the email messages coming from him by itself you could already be learning some great stuff. This, Affilorama, is I think one of the best out there.
You are so right when you say that 90% of Online Opportunities that are offered there is just a complete waste of time! I’m amazed that Clickbank actually allows them to promote there as I know the new security features for Affiliates is a lot harsher.

The $67 actually gets you everything you need Jeff and the up-sells are nothing more than getting some “done for you” type products. Things you would normally do yourself that some just don’t have time or even the skill to do, they offer that with Affilorama. If you want to do things on your own, the membership is all you need.
This seems like a great program. There are so many online scams out there that it’s discouraging for people who are actually invested in changing their lifestyle and working more from home.

Definitely a lot of scams and it does suck for a lot of people. Affiliate marketing is a great thing and thanks to programs like this, it is possible for anyone to work from home and make a nice living as well.
This is a very comprehensive review of Affilorama, however I am not comfortable with the upsells. I would rather pay for everything at once and not have to make further payments. The monthly price is not in my budget as well, so I don’t know what to do. With that being said, what do you think I should do form here as this is just not something I can afford right now.
HI, John. Familiar myself with Affilorama after previously posting a review of this company, I actually believe other than Wealthy Affiliate it is perhaps the best training regarding affiliate marketing in the business.
Mark Ling, founder of the program has managed to continuously update the training that is educationally taught to members who joined this program. The trial period after joining and being exposed to the initial parts of the training for the small price is beyond fair.
To be honest, however I’m not all that thrilled with Affilorama’s Jetpack upsell coming in at a price of just under $1,000. The problem that I see with this package would be that a person laying out all of that money might think that everything that comes along with it would be a guarantee that he/she would receive financial success in his/her affiliate business. The person might feel that Affilorama’s upscale package would do all of the work for him/her.
It would not be the case. With any online marketing venture, work would need to be put in by that individual. There is absolutely NO guarantee that despite everything available in this JetPack, the person who invested all of that money into the package would see his/her online marketing business take off financially.
One other difference between WA and Affilorama at the premium level cost, (besides the $18/month higher fee for the latter), Affilorama as I studied the program does not offer one-on-one coaching, direct access to Mark Ling the founder, nor the ability to have your website receive comments and feedback from both members which is the case with WA.
Still, as you pretty much stated in your grade of this opportunity, John, Affilorama is so much more legit in a number of ways compared to most similar programs that can be found online.

Totally agree Jeff but I think the AffiloJetpack is better for a more advanced marketer that would know what to do with what it offers. Of course nothing is guaranteed no matter what you buy online and ultimately it does depend on how much you put into anything. I am a member of both (because I pay yearly) and just like anything else, they both have their pros and cons. with the free WA trial, that will ultimately give them the upper hand. You can always checkout the Wealthy Affiliate Timmy as both are great programs but WA has no up-sells. The thing about Affilorama’s up-sells is that it is actually really good as it takes away a lot of the legwork that comes with building out a site with content, which WA doesn’t offer. So it’s really a matter of do you want to build out your site by yourself with WA or you can get some of the work done for you by paying for them inside of Affilorama. It all depends on preference and most especially budget so go with what works for you in that regard.
Hi John, you did a very good review of Affilorama, truthful and factual. I was with Affilorama in 2009 until 2011.I was not working at the time so I had time to learn about affiliate marketing and website building. They are good just like you said, and very similar to Wealthy Affiliate. But at the time, there was a lot or costs like I hate to purchase Traffic Travis for keyword research and Xsite Pro for creating websites. Unlike WA we did not have to pay for these things. I was not successful with Affilorama, not blaming them, maybe me, i did not give it much time. 2011 I decided to go back to my regular job and dropped affiliate marketing. So Affilorama, I agree with you is not a scam. They are real and they are good.

there are so many scams out there when it comes to making money online that its become hard to find the good products. especially when a lot of the reviews are just people trying to make some easy money by promoting any and every program they find.

I went over your article word by word and it is pretty compelling and would be something I would be interested in. The price is a little steeper but that is strictly relative if the value is better also. I have and do belong to both programs Warren and they both offer the same training on affiliate marketing but I think I would need to do a full comparison between the two as there is much to cover. Let’s just say that Affilorama is a lot better for a little more advanced marketers as well as for those who have a bigger budget to utilize Affilorama’s “done for you” features.
So if you don’t have much money and you’re fine with just building out your site on your own, Wealthy Affiliate will be your best bet. If you have money to invest and you want things done a little faster, affilorama will bebetter.
In the end, they are both great programs and it all comes down to your budget and patience level.

I think it’s because it’s not that long but maybe it’s just because I went over the training with Affilorama when I was well rested, lol. In the end, they both offer great training as they focus on the same business models.

I have seen Affilorama before when I was starting out building my martial arts website. I ended up going to Wealthy Affiliate instead, but I’ve only heard good things about Affilorama. It sounded like you have experience with both. Do you prefer the Affilorama community and resources to WA? Is there a big difference in what you learn?
The AffiloJetpack is the biggest thing I like about Affilorama but the training with both platforms are pretty much the same. For newbies, Wealthy Affiliate is better but if you want to get to the money faster, I’d go with Affilorama.

I was thinking after I have completed the lessons in Wealthy Affiliate would it be a good idea to join this company as well and combine the 2 programs. Would that be compatible.

One or the other will work just fine Mike. Once you have your website up and running, you can manage things on your own and you can even give your own training. Now if you want something a little more robust, I recommend a program called My Lead System Pro. Marketing on steroids along with done for you everything, it is a must for anyone looking to join the big leagues.

As a member at Wealthy Affiliate I oftentimes wonder if there is something out there that is better (naturally). We all have the grass is greener syndrome once in a while.

Affilorama has a member’s area which works just as good. To be honest, I actually prefer Affilorama’s as there is always someone spitting out the info you need. Both work great but that’s just what I think. Affilorama does give some good training on keyword research so they do cover all angles of affiliate marketing.

A really good review John, I must admit I have signed up for Affilorama jetpack. I’m not sure how confident I am in the products that it sells I am finding it hard going to be honest.
