Gone are the days of working for other people, but I do see some of the major benefits that came with me working at a normal 9-5 that doesn’t come with my new career.
With my experience in both worlds, I can now give you the pros and cons on two very different but similar lines of work that not only favors the work from home class.
I work from home full-time but that doesn’t mean it completely blows working at a normal job out of the water. There are actually more benefits of working away from home that most people tend to overlook.
Which Do I Prefer?
Well obviously working from home has a major upside to things and is also the reason why I will never go back to a regular job.
So yes, I prefer working from home and I’m sure my kids do too. No more waking up and leaving the house to make pennies a day, and a lot more time to do things I actually enjoy.
But, I still have some great things to say about working a regular job and I’m sure some of you can relate
Pros of Working Away From Home
Coworkers! As humans, I do believe that we need to interact with other people, but sometimes it’s not always a good thing.
Being at an actual job site can actually set you up for failure, depending on your goals, but having normal human interaction will do a lot for you mentally.
Now don’t get me wrong, you can always call up your old coworkers like I do and have a couple of rounds at a nice happy hour spot.
The one thing I really enjoyed was going out for lunch, but I think most of my paycheck went there, which might not have helped my bank account that much.
Why Working From Home Will Always Win, But Not Everyone Does it
There are just so many reasons as to why working from home wins and I could probably do a 5,000 word article on this, so I’m not going to bore you with something so long.
Even just one reason is enough for anyone to want to work from home, but there comes more problems that hold people back from doing something so amazing, which I would rather discuss.
1.) They don’t know what’s out there.
Everyone and their mothers will be super proud of you if you became a cop or a fireman. They will also try to tell you that those are the best careers in the world and it is something you need to do to be “successful” in life.
Let’s just say I’ve tried almost every type of job in my life and I’ve gained enough knowledge to know what actually works and what constitutes as success.
I also used to think that multilevel marketing was the only way to allow me to kick my 9-5 to the curb, but like I did anything else in life, I learned.
With more research and an open mind, I have found that something called affiliate marketing exists. This is also the same thing that I use to make my living from home.
2.) The internet has nothing but scams
Every normal person will tell you that there are nothing but scams online, but that doesn’t mean you need to listen to them.
I mean, they’re not lying, but they also don’t know that there are people making money online and a lot of them are making a good living from it too.
I can vouch for the scams because I’ve been through a ton of them, but I can also vouch that there is a way to make money online.
Thanks to programs like the Wealthy Affiliate, there are ways for normal people like you and me to make a comfortable living from home.
Other than that program right there, most are nothing but hype or require you to do some recruiting. Very unique and profitable business model right there, and I think you need to at least give it a try.
3. You’re Brainwashed
Being an online entrepreneur requires almost everything that you need to run a regular business and having the right mentality is one of them.
For a lot of you, you have your parents and every other person trying to tell you what’s best for you. There is only one person who knows what’s best for them and that my friend is YOU.
Do what you want and do what you feel is best for you. Block out everything else and you could be another online success.
Working From Home Will Always Win…Period.
There is not a single job on this planet that will beat working from home. So besides hanging out with your coworkers, holding a regular job can’t compete.
From the pay, all the way to having to impress another human being, there is nothing that I actually like about working for the government or corporate America.
Gone are the days of a ground pounding infantryman and welcome to my new career as a stay at home dad. I hope this post can give you a better view of the bigger picture as there is just more to life than just working.
If you want to finally make some money online, I am willing to give you my time, but only if you can be different from everyone else.
Join me here, and let’s start your journey through the online world. Follow what I tell you to do and you too can work from home.
Until next time, thanks for reading and have a great day!
