I am no artist and there is no way I can make money online or even offline for that matter with any type of art work. However, I do know how to sell products online and I think I’m quite good at it.
Today I want to show you how you artists out there can make some extra cash selling some of your artwork as well as art pieces you don’t even own.
Yup, Other People’s Artwork
I know you want to sell your own work and make money, but did you know that you can sell pieces of work from other people and make money in the process?
Take Advantage of Your Passion
We all have passions or at least something that interest us. For some of you, art just so happens to be something that you are obviously interested in.
I have a passion for helping people and with that passion, I am able to help others in one way or the other. For this case, I am going to help you sell your artwork online.
Your Art Store
Just like a bunch of you, I don’t have an actual store to sell stuff so I do 100% of my selling completely on the internet.
Being that you want to sell your art online, you too are going to need a “store” of your own to showcase your wonderful artwork.
Not Your Typical Store
Say goodbye to mopping floors and stocking products. With the online world, things are done a lot differently and for the most part, is going to benefit you big time.
You don’t have to stock any products. Being that you are going to make money off of other people’s artwork, this is a great time to use your work as a featured item.
All this means is that you are going to be able to add a bigger price tag to your work, simply because you own the site that you are selling from.
You are going to be in full control of what products are sold and how you sell them. What’s even better is that you are going to learn how to do this without actually talking to anyone.
Mess around with this handy dandy tool and see what types of names you can come up with for you soon to be online art store.
Building a website is not as complicated as they used to be. No more having to know computer codes and no more having to spend thousands of dollars just to have one built.
It’s all a matter of clicking and publishing. With the thousands of themes to choose from, you shouldn’t have a problem finding one that you want to use for your site.
That’s What Blogs are for
I know what you’re thinking. A blog? I don’t want to tell the world about my problems. I am not into this whole “blogging” thing.
Well my friend, that is perfectly fine. In this day and age, blogging is not like it used to be. Nowadays, people are making some good money simply offering information and advice to others who need it.
Same things goes with your art. We are going to be showing your customers to the type of artwork they are looking for. Again, there will be no direct selling.
All Eyes on Your Work
The internet is used by billions of people very single day. Unlike your typical stores or an art museum for that matter, you have more eyes on here than you will ever have anywhere else.
When someone wants to see some nice artwork, they most likely will turn to the internet to see it. They will look for art and whatever it is that they are looking for on the internet.
The point here is that you will not find a bigger market anywhere else. Period. What you have right here is not only the biggest, but also the cheapest way to get started.
No Paying Rent Here
I remember paying rent for the commercial space when I ran a bar. One big advantage you have with selling your art online is the fact that you don’t have to pay thousands of dollars just to showcase your work.
On top of that, you don’t have to do pay for electricity or water. No more waking up to open shop and no more being limited to business hours.
Owning a business online gives you the opportunity to earn money while you sleep. There’s nothing better than waking up to money in your bank account knowing you didn’t even talk to anyone trying to tell them how awesome your artwork is.
So How do we Get Started?
Here I learned to sell everything (I don’t own) and now I make my living completely from the internet. You too are going to learn how to turn this passion of art into some cash.
Learn Before You Earn
Just like a baby, you are going to have to crawl before you walk and walk before you run. Unless of course you’re some kind of freak of nature, and you started running before you crawled.
Learning how to make money online is only half the battle. It can be a lengthy process to getting your blog setup, but once you know how everything is done, the rest is history.
I hope this helps you with making some money online. I do make my living online, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments section down below.
I may not be an artist, but I sure can show you how to make some money on the internet. Thanks for reading and I hope you too can create a successful business online, with something you are truly passionate about. Cheers!
