Alright, so, you have probably heard of this idea; you sit at home, presumably in your pajamas (is there really any other way to sit around at home?), you have the day off, and you want to earn some extra cash.
You click on a link and there it is-the shiny blinking happy button of goodness that promises to pay you up to $10 or more an hour just for sitting around, playing on the internet, and taking a few surveys online.
You suddenly realize there are a lot worse ways to spend your days than sitting around making some spending cash on your couch in your PJs. But is there a hitch?
Paid Surveys at Home:
This is a site which promises this exact concept. You are told you are going to make upwards of hundred of dollars a month just by being part of online and telephone focus groups and letting big named companies know what you think about their products.
You may even be giving products to try for free just for signing up! And I am sure you’ll be pleased to know you don’t have to pay to take a survey, so that’s a bonus, right?
Well, it may not be so much. They will start out by telling you wonderful things such as “$20 in just 20 minutes!” only it is not so simple as all that.
The truth is the complicated and drawn out surveys take FAR longer than just “20 minutes” and the worst part is after you’ve spent the better part of an hour answering silly question after silly question you’ll click on the final link only to find you you do not qualify for the demographic in the first place, thus, negating all effort you have done and making your so called “$20 in 20 minutes” effectively null and void.
And to make matters that much worse, most of the time you have a set limit before you can earn a single cent, meaning after you’ve wasted all your time on a survey that is not going to pay you anyway, now you don’t have the time to do any of the ones that do! Does not seem so pleasing anymore now, does it.
But it Seems So Easy
It’s really hard for anyone to dodge this because of their claims to be so easy. I mean, taking surveys is not hard at all, but boy do they have a list.
Everyone wants the easy route and if this little program promised me to make money doing pretty much nothing, it’s hard to resist.
Being a lot more wiser and a lot less lazier, I have put in the time and effort to build a legitimate business online and the rest is history.
No hard work goes unrecognized, so remember that. If no one recognizes it, your bank account and your lifestyle will.
Let’s Just Go Back For a Second…
Let’s talk a bit more about that whole “you don’t have to pay for surveys” thing. Yes, as that may be true on a “per survey” basis (although, more often than not you may even be charged per survey too), the fact is, you do, have to pay to sign up for the site after all.
Like the old saying goes, if you have to pay to be hired, you are no longer an employee, you are a customer. The average legitimate market research will not charge you a dime for your opinion, so why does “Paid Surveys at Home”?
Well, the answer to that should seem obvious. To make money, of course. But, maybe not so much to make YOU money, as it would seem.
In fact, upon signing up for their site, you may find an option to instantly connect with 300+ other companies all wanting the valuable opinion of you and you alone in order to better inform them of how to better improve their relations with their customers and their products.
The problem with this, however, comes when you realize you did not just sign up to make more money from 300+ companies, you just unwittingly signed up to receive 300+ spam emails on about a hourly basis.
Even The Owner is a Mystery
Even the exact owner and operator of the site seems to be a mystery. While it states that it is owned by a “Patricia Johnson”, her actually contact information seems to bounce all over the globe.
And, if the owner of the site is nearly impossible to locate, why would she want 300 some odd companies be able to locate you?
Not exactly what you had in mind when you signed the dotted line now, is it.
Paid-surveys-at-home.com has an F in the BBB ratings and if that doesn’t put you off, I am not sure what will. In fact, not only is the owner of the site impossible to locate, but it would seem that you basically can not directly contact anyone from the sit at all.
Imagine if you were to spend your hard earned money, completed some surveys, then just had a simple question about your funds-who would you turn to?
No Support Whatsoever
There is very little to no HR or even really so much as an email that will respond with any of your questions or concerns. If you sign up, it would seem you are virtually (pun intended) on your own.
I have not even begun to go over the limits! In most cases in a lot of the reviews found online, you will find that good honest people have poured their heart, souls, and bank accounts into this service only to be given roughly $20 and a pat on the head.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason, this site just caps you off when they seem fit and moves on with their lives leaving you in shame and disgust for ever having trusted them in the first place.
Final Verdict: SCAM!
There are so many people that put together some hash and try to sell them on the Clickbank marketplace just to have affiliates push them out to make money.
They think that if they pay affiliates a good enough commission that they will go out there and promote it, but it is not worth it.
There is only one program I actually recommend when it comes to making money online and there is no other program that has come close. Even if they are legit Click here to see my #1 recommendation!
Working from home is not an easy gig. There are a lot of good and decent opportunities out there, but, unfortunately, Paid Surveys at Home is just not one of them.
At the end of the day, most everything points to this site being just another “get rich quick” drop of water in a sea of lost dreams and broken wallets.
Take the time to look elsewhere and don’t waste a moment on Paid Surveys at Home. No amount of paying to work will ever make up for lost wages.
