So I’ve seen the battles that Click Funnels and Instapage are having, so I thought I’d ask around and get some intel before I invest. This is not a review (yet), but a post to get some insight so that I can decide if this is something I want to throw some money at.
I don’t know if you’ve seen this “free” book by Russell Brunson called “The Dotcom Secrets“, but that is one of his funnels that got me to his main product, which is Click Funnels.
Just like any other funnel, he started out with a free book, which came with a $7.95 shipping fee and the opportunity for him to sell you more products.
Is this Different?
I am not a big fan of up-sells, but they will always be there no matter what. The thing I don’t think they should EVER be involved with, is the make money from home niche.
There’s nothing more irritating than a “hey you might want to get this if you really want to make money” pitch after you’ve already purchased a product thinking you’re going to learn how to make money.
The problem I’m having here is that it is not necessarily a make money from home product, but rather something to enhance your existing business. I am just curious if this has helped anyone take their business to another level, so I just had to ask.
What is Click Funnels?
This product was created by an ex-wrestler named Russell Brunson. He has created this marketing funnel program, which uses landing pages, sales pages, and membership pages within its program.
It is not going to show you how to make money online, but it will add to an existing business, whether it be online or offline.
Who it’s For
Although it seems very simple and Russell does an excellent job marketing this product, just know that it is not for a complete newbie when it comes to making money online. I mean what could anyone without any online marketing knowledge do with this, really?
This is a sales funnel system, so you will need a product to send people through this funnel you plan on creating. You’ll probably have thousands of people taking the free trial, with no intention of using the system.
This program comes with several key components to running a successful marketing funnel, just like the one Russell uses to get you with here. Yup, this is the same exact funnel is what you will be creating with this product.
It comes with
- Optin funnels
- Webinar & Auto Webinar Funnels
- Sales Funnels
- Launch Funnels
- Membership Funnels
I do like how Russell explains how all of these would cost a lot if you were to purchase each one on its own, but you really need to know what you’re going to use this for, before you commit to the crazy cost.
You won’t see the price flashing anywhere around the marketing funnel, but you will be inserted through the top of this funnel through the free trial.
Once you get in the funnel, it is going to cost you $97 a month if you want to continue with the service. within that funnel, you are already hit with an up-sell, with is nothing more than a do you want fries with that marketing technique.
This will be the “9 secret funnels”, which is going to cost you a one time fee of $47. If not, you can continue with your free trial.
You will need to put in your credit card, but that’s not because they want to take your money from you when you forget about it, but because they don’t want you to lose any work you’ve done.
This can go both ways, but do make sure you cancel, if you don’t want to be hit with a $97 payment for something you’re not going to make money with.
So I can’t say anything good or bad about something I haven’t tried myself, so I’m hoping to get some feedback from anyone who has used this product before.
This is not for you to go and put your link to make some money, but I want some real, honest testimonies from those of you who have used this before.
Click Funnels or Instapage?
I plan to incorporate a nice sales funnel to a couple of products, so I need a nice program to do that. Have any of you tried Instapages? Which do you think would be the best fit for products that aren’t related to the make money from home niche? Any comments, recommendations, or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
