In this Aweber review, I want to show you how the simplicity and the beauty of this autoresponder makes it my #1 choice for anyone looking to automate their emails or get more out of their email marketing campaigns.
With all the autoresponders out there, Aweber has blown away the competition. I have tried other email services, but I like this one the most. Getresponse would probably be my next recommendation but for now, let’s focus on Aweber.
What is Aweber?
Aweber is one of the many autoresponder services, which is offered to businesses to automate the whole emailing process. This autoresponder gives true meaning to the whole “Set it n forget it” line.
Whether you want to automate email or set up a signup form to capture email addresses, this is what Aweber specializes in. The form to the right is ran by Aweber and that would probably make me seem a little biased, but let it be known, that I have tried other services out there and they really can’t compare. Aweber is up there with the best of them, if not the best.
They offer opt-in forms for those not so technologically inclined, which is most of us. Don’t hide, it’s all good. Opt-in forms are great for email marketers to capture leads so they can promote something else through email marketing, which is what Aweber is best known for.
Who is Aweber for?
Aweber is for anyone looking to automate email or build a list for email marketing. If you own a company and you want to make emailing your employees a lot easier, this type of service will be sure to increase production greatly.
If you are interested in doing email marketing, this service can help you as well. With the little $1 trial, it will be sure to make anyone want to keep the service. So if you don’t want to continue, please don’t take the trial, because they will bill you the $19 after your 30 days are up.
I also suggest you don’t get started until you know you are ready to start an email campaign. Aweber can help any business or online marketer take their business to another level, so don’t use this service unless you are absolutely ready.
Pros & Cons
There are always the good and bad that come with everything, so I would like to share what I like and what I didn’t like. Here are some of the pros and cons of Aweber.
- Very easy to use
- Beautiful opt-in templates
- Split testing
- Campaign Sharing
- No complaints
- Mobile app
- Spam free
- Autoresizing with opt-in forms
- Great affiliate program
- No free Trial
- Gets kind of pricey once your list passes 10k people
We all know about the $1 free trial, but some of you may not know that even if you don’t like the service and you want to cancel, you can still get that dollar back. Talk about confidence. If you want to get a totally free trial, you can do so with Mailchimp (not recommended) or Getresponse, because Aweber does the whole $1 thing.
There are also some things you might not understand in regards to pricing, because some of us only know about the $19 basic package which is all we need, right? well there’s a little more to this service and you can see that below.
Pretty much, this service really depends on how much people you have subscribed to your lists is what determines how much you will pay. If you have over 10,000 subscribers, I don’t think that really matters at that point, one email to that many people should get you thousands back, with just one click. Don’t you love email marketing?
I have actually seen other reviews on Aweber and I didn’t see many complaints about it, beside the ones that were either trying to promote something else, or they were a former employee. Unhappy employees? Why?
I guess there are a couple of disgruntled employees that had some problems “working” for the company, but not as a customer. I haven’t heard any complaints of email not going through or lists being deleted, so that is always a good thing.
With other email services, I have heard people say that they get emails from people they don’t know (spam), or have no idea where it came from. From my experience with Aweber, I have yet to encounter one of these spammers.
The Training & Tools
The training is something that aweber really focuses on. With everything you do, there is always a question waiting for you in case you don’t know what you’re doing or you get lost.
There are webinars and videos that will help you understand anything that you want to know. If you can’t find it there, you can always use their FAQ page, which they call their “knowledge base”.
The Tools are very simple and easy to use, especially their autoresponder. Well duh, isn’t that what they’re supposed to be good for? I beg to differ. Some other autoresponders are very complicated and it’s almost more of a hassle than a convenience.
You can also promote Aweber as an affiliate, and they offer decent commissions and great looking banners. You can also incorporate your link to your forms, which is something I didn’t know until I decided to take a look at their affiliate program.
With the form, you just need to put your affiliate ID in your Aweber account and it will automatically put it on your form.
Customer Service & Support
There is always someone waiting to respond to any questions you may have. From their toll free number, to their international support, to their text response, there is a lot of support offered here.
As for getting your very own tutor or personal assistant, I’m sorry my friend but that isn’t going to happen here. You also can’t get 24/7 support either, because it is only available from 8am-8pm ET from Mon-Fri.
Come on Aweber, you can do better than that. Well, you can always use the FAQ’s page or watch a video for any of the simple questions you may have.
Is Aweber a Scam?
This question really cracks me up. Aweber is an email service and not some type of get rich overnight scam or take your money and not deliver service. You will get what you pay for and you can also cancel whenever you want to.
As a newbie to the online world this can be somewhat of a question you may have though, but let me just tell you that Aweber is not a scam and is nothing but an email autoresponder service. There are many services like it and they are not scams either, unless I haven’t encountered them. If so, please let me know in the comments section below.
You can rest assure that you will not get scammed by Aweber (as a customer), but I can’t vouch for the Aweber employees because I have seen a couple of unhappy people that worked for Aweber.
Is Aweber The Best Autoresponder?
As an online marketer, autoresponders will help you grow your business and I would have to say that Aweber is the best autoresponder and it would be my #1 recommendation to anyone looking to use the autoresponder service.
Nothing compares to what Aweber has to offer, not to mention that they have been around for 15 years. That must say a lot about a company. If you are looking for the best Autoresponder, Aweber is definitely the go-to.
I’m pretty sure there are many Aweber users out there and many looking to do some email marketing of some sort, so if you found this review of Aweber to be helpful, please leave a comment below and let me know what you think. And don’t forget, sharing is caring, cheers!
